I'll check the tapes tomarrow. Had a long day and the dog wants me to come to bed. It's past her bedtime and she's lying on the rug at my feet complaining. This household is seriously puppy whipped. Nite, David.

The only other thing I've seen Adrian Paul do was an episode of Murder She Wrote, and the guy was horrible in it. But he was awesome as Duncan MacLeod. His performance was so deep and so real, it was one of the many reasons I loved that show. And I thought Adrian was so much better than Christopher Lambert as Connor MacLeod in the movies.
I missed the Highlander with the vampire.
Could you imagine Spike getting shot or wounded or something that should kill a human but doesn't kill a vampire, surviving but not vamping out, Duncan seeing it and pulling a katana on him, wondering why an immortal didn't set off his immortal spider-sense. Spike would be looking down the blade of the katana -- "Whoa, mate. Careful who you plannin' to shishkabob with that thing."

You can most certainly download eps from Kazaa, most of the time only a few days after they air. I missed an episode of Angel one week and had to download it from Kazaa to see it -- I watched it on the computer on Friday, it aired on Wednesday.

Nite Rusty.
Seems like the board has abandoned me this evening. No all nite laugh-a-thons this Friday night. So I'll take Rusty's cue and climb into bed myself.
Nite Rusty.

Since I am now in a funk (see above post #45) and everyone else has gone to bed - I too will follow.
Good night all. Pleasant dreams!
Maybe tomrrow night will be an all-night laugh-a-thon.

Haven't seen it, don't care. You can't teach 'em, they won't learn.
See! Nan, See? That was MY attitude!

Deborah, thanks for the kind words. I'm glad my rapier wit made you laugh, even though David once again suffered.
David....I love you! I hope you know that.

Everyone seems to have lives tonight, what's up with that?
Had our first production night of Godspell tonight! It was terrific, the audience really got into it, we were on, WHOO HOO! I LOVE theatre! I LOVE singing! Music is better than almost ANYTHING to me!

A new spinoff idea could be Spike and Faith. Not necessarily as lovers. Just that those two characters seemed to have amazing chemistry, possibly because of their rebelous pasts.
That WAS the planned spin-off David. Then Eliza decided to go with a different idea. Is it mean to hope her new series tanks? I guess it is. Nevertheless.

I have part 1 of Old Blood done--one of at least several, since it took me 4 pages to just do the introductory scene.
When Vlad gets back, I'll ask him to post it. First fiction I've written in something like ten years. It feels VERY good (whether this proto-story is good is another matter, and for others to judge).
Feel glad for me anyway. Sorry to miss the party, but I'm now completely wasted. Some late-night activities take absolutely everything you've got, and writing is the one I by far prefer.

Man! I missed the party by 6 minutes! Well, guess I'll get back to writing too, Nan. Glad you got the 'spirit' again, and can't wait to read it! Good night!

Tomorrow, I promise, on your piece. When I'm writing, Gabriel in large chariot + trumpet plus horses could not distract me.
Also, tomorrow I'll tally mail and report to folk on progress of benenoia. I actually WORKED the past two days, and it's shot my schedule all to hell.

Michelle, in Part 22 you posted: I don't know if you guys read the Scoop Me scoop because you may be avoiding spoilers, but DB had this to say:
"The addition of someone like him coming over would be fantastic. He's been stuck in a small town for too long, he needs to get out in a big city and see where the big dogs play." – says David Boreanaz on the possibility of "Spike" joining the cast of Angel. '
I have looked everywhere I can think of but can not find this quote. Can you tell me what article or Scoopme post it came from? Thanks!

Thanks Rusty for being so insistent that there was a female butler in one of the Angel episodes this season. I looked up Jess on the IMDB database, and they listed her in the second episode of the season, "Ground State". So I went to Kazaa and downloaded and re-watched it -- sure enough, I blinked the first time and missed it, but there she was, Jessica M. Kiper, baby sister of a girl I used to date in school and now a big Hollywood star. Her scene was about half-a-second long, but she was right there onscreen with Alexa Davalos, aka Gwen Raiden. I feel special. I know someone who knows people who know Alyson Hannigan ... oh yeah, and James Marsters, too! David Crenshaw
