I think she's kinda cracked, myself. Something to do with the effects of multiple regenerations that the Cavill mentioned on New Caprica? That is an excellent possibility! It seemed to me that she had gotten addicted to the dying - that it gave her a real high. And also - she's nutty.

Okay Tigh, that's just... well, that's kinda screwed up. See, I can't decide if it's screwed up or not. I certainly think he should have waited to be sober before he told Bulldog anything...but he seemed to honestly think Adama would have told him. But I can't decide if he should really have been told, at all...nor can I decide if, this being a military unit, it was Tigh's place to tell him when Adama hadn't, yet. It's interesting, too, when paired with the next ep, and Adama realizing he's let his crew get too close to him. They're not his friends; they're his subordinates. He made a decision - the real issue is whether it was the right one. And it's too late to undo it, now, if he's changed his mind.

Interesting film quality. I almost didn't realize it was the show and not another commercial. A black ops mission? Conspiracy theorists. Hee. dig on the fans. But is that really conclusive? Locked in a cell for 3 years. Three years since the attacks? Is that right? So he escaped from the ship with the beacon? That's what I thought at first. So, I guess it was . . . the Cylons made him think they were all dying of the virus and let him go when they were in the area of Galactica? Just so he'd pound on Adama? Seems. . . over complicated. They're back to mind games now? I said that, too. "Seems like a lot of trouble to go to for one man." Then Dave pointed out that they've tried to kill Adama before. Still. Doesn't make huge amounts of sense, unless their theory is that, without him, the humans will be easily turned into a subservient race. Which theory is given the lie by the resistance on New Caprica.

"sometimes it only takes one" Oh, fer pete's sake, Adama, pull your head out of your arse. In thinking in over, I think part of what this episode is showing us is that Adama has a bit of a god complex of his own. He honestly thinks he alone could be responsible for the destruction of humanity? That's hubris, right there. Roslin saw it for what it was - 40 years of small moves, plus the people behind Adama, plus who knew how many other "black ops" missions over the years. One guy is NOT enough.
