Uh oh... it's coming home to roost, Laura... And there goes Adama. **nods** We could all see that train wreck coming, but obviously they didn't.

The Chosen One? Buffy's showing up?! //sing-song voice//Someone's not worthyyyy---Caprica!Six. ;D LOLOL! Exactly! Of course, Baltar and D'anna both think they're the Chosen One. But it might be Tyrol. The eye seems to be singing to him. Now that is a very cool thought.

Did they kill Kenny? Sorry. I'm in a weird mood tonight. My physical reaction to the end of the show prompted my son to ask: "Mom, do you have lice?"

LOL! Seriously. This show can drive you to drink! I have to say, though . . . this ending hasn't bothered me all that much. I was expecting it to be a major cliffhanger, so I'm not really all that surprised they ended it that way. I'm just pleased the topic of Lee/Kara was brought up again--after last week, I was afraid they might just brush that whole relationship off. In retrospect, it seems silly that I was afraid they wouldn't address that issue again, but that's how my brain works. I really like the whole Kara/Lee relationship dynamic. It makes my little hopeless-romantic heart happy, and I get to have some vicarious thrills through watching them. And the angst!!! Oh how I love the angst. That's not the reason I watch and love this show--not by a long-shot--but it does give me one more thing to enjoy watching. I'm glad they addressed it too. If they'd just kept having UST and angst and then back to nothing again, it would be even more crazy making.

I kind of think I believe him. Oh, Apollo - he's a soldier first and it's breaking his heart, of course, but what else can he do? Interesting that Adama backed up Laura in her lie. Eh? About Hera? I thought only Laura and Cottle knew about the switch. I'm still not totally sure about whether or not Adama knew about the initial switch. But this ep really seemed to say that Adama didn't know about the rest of it. Laura having the kid in her school, knowing all about it, etc.

I'm trying to figure out who in this episode did NOT act like a complete and total idiot at some or at most points in this ep. That's gotta be a short list. The Basestar, maybe. She seemed pretty sensible. #rofl1# Dude! You are soooooooo right!

Eh? About Hera? I thought only Laura and Cottle knew about the switch. They did, but Adama when confronted by Helo and Athena didn't tell them that he didn't know about it. They assumed he did because he's the Admiral, but Laura did this behind his back. I can't decide how much of his ignorance he did or didn't tell them. I kind of got the vibe that they were . . . comiserating together a bit? But we didn't see the actual first conversation between them, so I can't decide. Ooooooh! That is an interesting twist. I knew the minute that the Cylons were talking about him bluffing that it was totally not a bluff at all. And I think he really did love having Roslin on the bridge during that "we are bluffing" "are we?" moment. ;D

For some reason, I have trouble believing that. It just doens't seem to jibe with her character. She's not Ellen, even if he IS jealous as all heck.(and rightly so this time 'round) Huh. I thought that comment by Sam was pretty much reinforced by Kara herself with her comment about how the marriage vow was a sacrament, but that 'this' (meaning teh sex/cheating) was just - how did she put it? 'Just bending the rules." They are really so very different. Apollo and Kara. **nods** This is how I see it too. And they are so very very different. Which, really, they should have figured out by now. Actually, Sam is probably a better match for her, in that respect. He meant it when he said "I know my wife". I think he does understand her, for the most part.

She seemed pretty sensible. Chief and Cally seemed all right. Dee as well. She stayed professional and didn't rise to Kara's bait during the briefing. Adama. He went straight to Laura and demanded to know the truth about Hera. And knew better than to even open his mouth when she was done; he left the room before he could say the bad things you KNOW were going through his head. Also, he went himself to speak to Athena and Helo about it, which I thought was good. Gaeta. Still got my Gaeta-crush goin on. I want some more Gaeta-story. ;D **happy sigh** Gaeta. I'd love me some more Gaeta-story.

They did, but Adama when confronted by Helo and Athena didn't tell them that he didn't know about it. They assumed he did because he's the Admiral, but Laura did this behind his back. I took him to be very angry when Laura admitted what she did, and instead of punching her out, he decides to nuke her blessed temple that is showing the way to earth. I think the temple-nuking is his way of protecting the thirteenth tribe and the balance of humanity: something he really really doesn't want to do, but will do if he has to. I mean, Dee and Galen and Cally and STARBUCK AND LEE are down there: all his favoritest kids. And when he talked with Athena and Helo, well, I saw him as taking responsibillity for it, even if he had no awareness of the actions: a commander's place. Oh, yes. I can totally see him taking the responsibility because he was in charge - it happened on his ship, etc. Even without knowing about it, or knowing very little about it.

'Just bending the rules." They are really so very different. Apollo and Kara. Eh, I think that they are more similar than they are different in a lot of ways: and I think that Kara was calling it "bending the rules" as a very special exception. I see her as being.... too proud to "tomcat around" in the way Ellen did: I also don't feel that there are that many men that would meet her standards. Also, Ellen was always using sex to get something. Often something for Tigh or to advance their position, etc. But Kara I can see having sex just because . . . just because she found someone hot and wanted to have sex. Just to meet her own physical needs. And she wouldn't necessarily see why it would have to be anything other than that.

Part I Temple is 4K years old. I thought the 13th colony split off 3K ya. Temple of the Five. Now why would the humans call it that? I was wondering too. Are we seeing a common touch point between the Human and Cylon belief systems? Yeah, that was kinda lucky, wasn't it? Give them time during all the negotiation to finalize the food processing and also doesn't let a weakness be known to the Cylons. ;D Well, we'll see I guess. It certainly seemed a bit tempting to a few of them.
