Part II Physical description? Does it, maybe, look like an eye? ;D ;D ;D Yes, tactically it was a smart choice. And aside from some chest beating, it also worked out pretty well. I loved that bit. Just loved it! ;D That's exactly what I was thinking! I like how we're seeing all the distrust and conflicting goals within the Cylon leaders. Not only gives us more insight into them, but also gives a good explanation for some of their decisions.

Part IV Five priests. That's why it's called the Temple of Five. But is there a connection? Could just be coincidence, but . . . . Sort of like the coincidence of them each arriving at this planet right as it is about to go bye-bye. The stuff in the previews with Dee really intrigued me. 'Cuz that is a much more interesting way to go, story-wise. Huh indeed.

She wasn't MARRIED at the time! By which I mean that she wasn't cheating on someone at the time. And she called Baltar "Lee" anyways. Hee! That makes it ok, then. Well, actually, sort of yeah. I mean, her and Lee weren't "dating" or sleeping together or anything at that point. They were still dancing around it all (well, I guess they always do that ). So, really, sleeping with some guy would just be . . . like, why not? I think Kara just runs any time big feelings come at her. I mean, she had big feelings for Lee's brother and then that went all sideways and she felt all guilty and so on. Plus, there's all that childhood trauma. So she probably is just trying to dodge all the big sticky emotion stuff whenever she can. Not that she does a very good job.

Eh? About Hera? I thought only Laura and Cottle knew about the switch. I'm still not totally sure about whether or not Adama knew about the initial switch. But this ep really seemed to say that Adama didn't know about the rest of it. Laura having the kid in her school, knowing all about it, etc. Ron Moore clarified this in his latest interview. The full (spoilery) interview is in the spoilers thread. And wasn’t it Adama and Roslin that made that call, to hide Hera?“It was really just Roslin. Adama doesn’t even know.” That’s right, sorry.“Yeah, it was just Roslin and Cottle that knew.”

Must be trying to get the Sunday night viewers.

Jupiter's Eye looks a lot like a missle. I wonder if Adama does succeed in setting off a nuke if the think might activate and shoot into space.

They did, but Adama when confronted by Helo and Athena didn't tell them that he didn't know about it. They assumed he did because he's the Admiral, but Laura did this behind his back. I can't decide how much of his ignorance he did or didn't tell them. I kind of got the vibe that they were . . . comiserating together a bit? But we didn't see the actual first conversation between them, so I can't decide. Ooooooh! That is an interesting twist. I knew the minute that the Cylons were talking about him bluffing that it was totally not a bluff at all. And I think he really did love having Roslin on the bridge during that "we are bluffing" "are we?" moment. ;D On the rewatch, I see that Adama threatened to use nukes before he found out about Hera. It didn't seem like he was bluffing. There's Gaeta talking about 'what are the odds?', just like Baltar talked about the same thing earlier. Very strange that the red LED lights are tracing on D'anna and Caprica, but not on Baltar and Galla and the other man Cylon - who are all dressed in black.

Whoa. Possible connection between drawing in Kara's apartment and The Eye of Jupiter.

Whoa. Possible connection between drawing in Kara's apartment and The Eye of Jupiter. Looks like it's more than possible. One is a very accurate rendition of the other. Interesting.

Whoa. Possible connection between drawing in Kara's apartment and The Eye of Jupiter. Whoa. Very interesting images—thank you for the link. And it occurred to me tonight that there's something else worth considering (I quickly read through the thread, so if anyone did bring it up I completely missed it and apologize for not acknowledging you)—Jupiter the planet has a landmark that's often referred to as "Jupiter's eye" or "the eye of Jupiter" (as well as the Red Spot, for that matter). Which makes me wonder if the images depicted are based on someone's stylized illustration of that planetary landmark:
