I heart me some Romo. But Sheppard does Cockney better than Irish.
I also heart me some Sam. And possibly some Lee, if he would loosen up. Like, ever.

Speaking of Romo..... I was looking up info about Irish Gypsies after watching "The Riches" tonight and ran across this reference: Most Roma have always referred to themselves by the names of their particular tribe, or as "Rom" or "Roma," a word almost universally used among their various subgroups meaning "man" or "people," or when speaking English most translate that name as "Gypsy." And... How do the gypsies know so much about you with a single glance? It's something magicians have known (and, of course, kept secret) for many years. Magicians call the technique "cold reading."So, it got me thinking that Romo was playing Lee all along - gaining his confidence and tricking him to take the case. Gypsies are big on scamming, and the pickpocketing reinforces that. Also - on the Scifi board, someone mentioned that it might have been Six that Romo had loved a long time ago. It would explain their teary eyes.

I heart me some Sam muchly. And I'm hoping he and Lee continue to help each other get over Starbuck's death. And however they choose to "help" each other is fine with me.

I am of the opinion that Romo was playing everyone, basically being pretty much in charge the whole time, but not necessarily to their detriment. Like, this is the way he always is, no matter the situation?

Perhaps to mirror his behavior or even to suggest that Roma were present among the lost tribes of humanity.

It's funny, 'cause Sheppard's dad is of Irish/English descent and was educated in Ireland. And Mark once toured with an Irish singing group. So I imagine he's pretty familiar with the Irish accent and how it sounds.

That might explain why it didn't sound too Irish, because he knows what that accent sounds like, but he was actually going for something different. More like whatever planet he's from. Someone here said he sounded a bit like Baltar's homeland accent.

I was thinking the same thing myself as I was getting ready for bed; perhaps he went for a slightly modified version in order to convey the sense that the accent itself shifted over time.

Teaser
Putting Kara's picture on The Wall.
Sam drunk off his ass.
Baltar's trial. Judges tribunal. 5 judges, of course.
Slimy lawyer.
Baltar gave the Cylons the location. Of New Caprica, I assume. Is that all they are charging him with?

Part I
Never bow to terrorism stance.
Oh, Lee. Awkward.
Hey, it's Badger!
A fanatic?
Helo as CAG. Yay!
What is this guy's game?
Whoever cares the most, wins.
Lee's grandpa's legacy.
Hands of blue.

Part III Cylons behind terrorism? -I'm thinking not. By the time the Cylon's catch up with us, they won't have to do anything to anything but sweep up the pieces. - More likely. Some of us don't get a second chance. Ouch. What's Baltar looking for? Roslin's missing her glasses. Nice reflection of Caprica in the glass. Caprica's ready to sell out Baltar? Should have been nicer to her mechanic. Takes off his glasses. Lawyer took the pen from Baltar and that's what Baltar was looking for? Secret message in the pen? Bugged? Without you it has no meaning. No trial for Cylons. Does your love hurt as much as mine? I feel like part of our world just fell down. Adama's missing something? What was that about? So it was Baltar's pen. Everyone has demons. The law is just a way of exorcising them. Interesting. You hated him because he was right and I hated the law because it was wrong. James Madison defending the soldiers involved in the Boston Massacre. Why do we do what we do? An act of compassion. A serial contrarian.

Part IV
He took Roslin's glasses. and Adama's button. So he's a klepto?
Class issues again.
Lee still hasn't hung Kara's picture. Can't believe that she is dead.
He has a calling.
Kelly was the one doing it. At least he's honest. I respect that.
Lee feeling a calling of the Law.
Adama family issues. Shades of Seelix trying to become a pilot and being denied.
I'm through giving you orders. What does that mean?
Sam broke his leg.
Hung the picture finally.
There is no greater ally, no force more powerful, no enemy more resolved, than a son who chooses to step from his father's shadow. Ooh!!!

The beard doesn't look fake, so I wonder how they do that. If it IS fake, then I wish their hairpiece person worked for Veronica Mars, because then Tim Foyle's wig might have looked a lot more natural.
