Sabotage, dissent and unlikely alliances entangle the Galactica crew as the fleet awaits the trial of Gaius Baltar.

Tribunal for Baltar's trial.
Commendation, Commendation, and then a tone of disciplinary reports... hee!! "Resemblance" hee!
Sam drunk in the cockpit of a Viper.
Lee getting ready to put up her picture next to Kat's..
Ah. "My girl's too lucky to check out"
"I think I fell" heh.
They seem all sorta.. numb about the loss.
"Own one fifth of Baltar's skinny ass"
Oh, god, Cally, don't tell me you are gonna be a pro-Baltarist.. or are you trying to be pro-justice?
Huh. So Mr. Hughes goes boom. I wonder who set that one up.
Suspect list is kinda big...
Crap. I missed the survivor count.

I can tell you Katee Sackoff's name wasn't in the opening credits, so I presume the survivor count changed as well.

Interesting and moving intercut of scenes to start. Adama going thru Kara's record - alternating commendations and disciplinary actions. More of the latter than the former, I'd bet. And a birthday card. Selecting the tribunal judges and Adama is one. Something tells me Roslin didn't really want that to happen. Even if it was purely chance, it's not gonna look that way. And Sam getting drunk while Lee tries to talk him down. That sad little "she's still alive, right?" Rumblings among the crew - they don't like Baltar's lawyer and they don't like that Baltar is alive while Starbuck is dead. Boom!! Well, since the pilot was in there too, I don't think she did it, no matter how much she hated him taking his shoes off in her raptor.

Iron Handed President Roslin
Lee as CAG who has lost his stuff.
He called Racetrack "Starbuck" Oh boy. The boss needs some time off.
Holy crap he's willing to represent Baltar! It's Badger!
They HAVE kittys to herd!
Uh, but he brought the cat along anyways? Precious animal, I guess.
Well, Lee, you kinda need to be grounded for a bit.
"No you're not. Because I'm not"
Helo as temporary CAG.
You need the rest, as does your daddy, Lee, but he is holding it together a leetle better than you are at the moment, looks like.
Lamprykin is a creepy little frakker, isn't he?
So Lampkin was 'prenticed to Grandaddy 'dama? Or just tangled with the Older Man a lot?

The trial must go on! **sings show must go on . . . ** Lee is completely losing it. Trying to act like things are the same . . . calls Racetrack Starbuck. Hmmmm. Interesting lawyer guy. Sunglasses, cool accent, doing it for fame and glory. And he has a cat! "I was born for this. that and the fact that I have a pulse." ;D I think I'm going to like this character. Grounding me. I need your help. Each is trying to pretend for the other's sake. "I'm fine." "No you're not, because I'm not." Security for the new lawyer guy. Hmmmmm. Trying to make a connection to Lee thru his grandfather? Or just truly trying to do a good lawyer job for his client? Ooooh. Blue hands making a bomb! **has an odd combo flashback to both Firefly and Arrested Development . . . **

Lord Baltar of Scruffytown. "whole charade's pathetic" Well, you aren't breathing vacuum right now, Baltar, that's pretty impressive. So Baltar uses his lawyer time to write down his musings? "New manifesto shows a great change in you" "keeps them all guessing" meaning what? String on his wrist? Cixy is the one he's worried about? I guess he's figured that she's flipped. Why don't they EVER use her Caprica alias? "I love her very much" "I can sense that" "Do your job, or stop me from doing mine?" Great, Lee's using Lampkin's arguments. And Tyrol looked upset. Huh. And who was a bomb merchant on New Caprica? Okay, it wasn't Galen. Did he stay under there to disarm it when he ordered everyone else to get away? Yeah, it doesn't look like Lee's doing a great and attentive job of security, there. And Daddy doesn't wanna lose a third child. And a fourth, with Athena. Crap. Comparison of losses. Olmos does GREAT wild-eyed intense dedication. WOW.

Tribunal for Baltar's trial. Commendation, Commendation, and then a tone of disciplinary reports... hee!! "Resemblance" hee! ;D So perfectly Starbuck, wasn't it? Yeah. Like they can't even do their usual combination of anger and black humor. Starbuck was the one they thought would never die. Cally is just . . . . I just can't fathom what is up with her now.

Yeah, Starbuck was the one that they figured would make wings of wax and feathers and flap her happy butt out of any gravity well she got stuck in. There's no room for "death" when you've survived all the crap she has, and with such gusto and elan.

Baltar is scared shitless. Well. Along with being whiney, paranoid, and selfish. Which is kinda normal for him. But I absolutely loved him doing that little bounce on Lee's bed. ;D Fair trial. Probably not. "Haven't exactly been helping yourself, have you?" ;D "Caprica Six. I worry about her." (I'll bet you do. ) "I need to talk to her. Tell her I love her very much." "I can sense that." ;D ;D I knew I was going to love this lawyer guy. Everybody looking at you like you're bleeding. Damn. This guy can sure get under folk's skins, can't he? "What is your job? Keeping me alive or keeping me from doing mine." I imagine they hope a bit of both, actually. Wants to be flown to get files. Why put the bomb here? How did they know he'd be on that ship? Or did the lawyer guy engineer this? After all, it is his cat that runs off and saves them all. Either the cat sensed something was awry or else he used the cat to disclose his own planted bomb . . . hmmmmmm. Is the lawyer guy in on it or not? Trying for publicity? Adama is sooooooooooo not happy. But I think he and Lee both needed to blow off some steam. "You could have died." "I'm gonna do what I was chosen to do and so are you!" Well, you tell him what's what daddy.

Cally babbling that cylons are present. Athena begging to differ.
I still think that there's a cylon wi-fi connection.
Lee's taking it a little intense.. and Lampkin's right. If they want to kill him, they will.
"Same conditions apply"
"trouble locating the files"
Oh, fer, just listen to Zarek, and your instincts, Roslin, and toss Baltar's happy ass out an airlock.
The way she started out, I thought she was gonna speak abouther brainwashing in Korea...
Lampkin is pushing Cixy's buttons..
So is he doing the "quid pro quo, Clarice" thing with Six, here?
No, he's mindfrakking her, knowing how she's been feeling inside.. God, what a creepmonkey.
And he passes on the message.
Pen?
Pen with what hidden in it? Lee? GRAB IT. It could be a message, a bomb, anything.
Different justice for Cylons: she won't get a trial.
Clear answer. And Lee and the Admiral thinking about Kara, not the collapsing case.
"the Six"
Lampry is a GREAT lawyer...
Don't tell this asshat ANYTHING, Lee. He already knows way too much about you. Even if he knew Adamicus Finch when he was younger, anything you tell him is new insight, a new weapon.
"The machines"
Adamicus was a Public Defender, then.
"Understanding why people do what they do" Not for moral reasons, but simply to answer our curiosity. he's frakking with your head, Lee.
Cylons as machines yet again.
Lampkin casting himself as a Jesus figure.
"Serial Contrarian" GREAT description..
What a beautiful sentiment to end it on.
"Now if this conversation is over, I'd like to take a crap"
Of course it wasn't true.
Or maybe it was: mom suggests to me that that's why he still keeps the cat.
The delivery boy walked away QUICK: RUN!
Pin?
