Part III
Back on the freighter.
Liquid nitrogen. So they're trying to dismantle the bomb.
Sun tells Michael about her pregnancy. Why exactly did she tell him? That was kind of weird.
Daniel back with the zodiac.
Daniel's going to die, isn't he?
Rose, regulating the pantry. Rose's going to keep an eye on Miles.
Miles and Daniel and Charlotte powwow.
Daniel wants to make sure that they're both with him when they leave. Because?
Miles wants to stay. Because of the ghosts, I guess.
Charlotte spent all this time trying to "get back here." What do I mean? Huh? Charlotte's been to the island before?
The station is deep. OK, then.
Like a mine or something.
The Orchid is not the Magic Box.
The same thing all the DHARMA stations are for. Silly experiments.
Now Locke is asking all the questions. Ben is treating Locke like a small child. Hee!
Another orientation video! Whee!
Cool doors!
A rabbit with a number on its back!
Edgar Halliwax. What names will he come up with next? Lantern? Kerosene?
The Orchid is not a botanical research unit. No kidding! Unique experiments in both space and time.
The Vault. Next to a pocket of negatively charged exotic matter. Whatever that means.
Do not leave organic materials inside the chamber.
No metallic objects in The Vault. All the while Ben is putting everything metal he can find in there. Love the expression on Locke's face here. HA!
VCRs on the fritz. so we don't get to see the whole video of that one either.
If you mean time traveling bunnies, then yes. Ha!
Somebody called the elevator?

Part IV
Hurley, Jack, and Sawyer back at the helicopter.
Cute Kate and Sawyer banter.
Sweet Kate and Jack interaction.
Oh, yeah, this is like when Jin was handcuffed in the first season.
The freighter is safe now. Except it's not.
Exodus.
Keamy. Of course he's not dead.
That explains why the freighter didn't blow up yet.
Body armor. Yeah, except I'm wondering if he just got reanimated somehow.
Keamy does the villain thing where he explains his entire plan to our "heroes."
Dead man's trigger.
Ben slaughters Keamy. He must have really loved Alex. In a never really learned how to love sort of way.
Ben indirectly blew up the freighter, and he could care less. Honestly, Locke, how can you be surprised by this at this point?

Coda.
Charlotte decides to stay for now.
If you don't come with me for now, could be forever. Nothing's forever.
Charlotte was still looking for where she was born. So she was born on the island?
Juliet's not going to leave until everyone else is off the island.
Group of extras prepare to leave.
Freighter is visible now from the beach.
They have a contingency plan, right? Like everyone else is prepared to jump before the thing blows, right?
OK, so they are going to make a contingency plan.
Fuel's dropping. Yep, a leak. Might have checked that before you took off.
Jettisoning the extra weight. Oh, are they going to Jettison Hurley?
Nope, Sawyer's going to make a heroic sacrifice. Whispers something to Kate, which I'm guessing has to do with whatever promise she was referring to in the flashforward.

No Place Like Home III
Teaser/Part I
Who is this guy?
Ah, AssassinSayid strikes again.
Santa Rosa mental institution. Ah, where Hurley is.
Was the guy Sayid killed one of Widmore's goons who is tailing the Oceanic Six?
So there's no security in this mental institution? At all?
Hurley playing chess.
Hurley and Sayid. Sayid wants to break Hurley out. Does Hurley know about Sayid's assassin activities?
Circumstances have changed. Bentham's dead.
2 days ago. "They" said it was suicide.
Bentham is not Bentham. They're just calling him Bentham rather than using his real name.
The Oceanic Six are being watched. I think Sayid means bugged.
And it makes sense to think that Hurley's room might be bugged, but why were Jack and Kate using the name Bentham when they were by the airport? Cause it didn't seem like there would be any bugs there.
I've been regularly talking to dead people; I don't need paranoia.
I find paranoia keeps me alive.
Sayid's plan is to go somewhere safe.
Checkmate, Mr. Eko. Oooh!
Nope, Keamy's not dead yet.
"It's not my problem." Yeah.
Where ever you go, Widmore will find you. Not if I find him first. And it's on!
And there goes the freighter.
Oh, five minutes left.
And the helicopter shows up just in time. Or not.
Tension, tension, tension.
Is Jin going to make it?
And there go the Oceanic 6. Plus Lapidus, who gets knocked off somehow.
There goes the last of the liquid nitrogen.
Whispers again.
ChristianJacob tells Michael he can go now.
Freighter goes boom. How many made it off before it blew?
Poor Sun.

Part II
Hysterical Sun.
So they try to go back to the island.
Sun in London.
Talking to Ji Yeon on the phone. So cute!
Ah, Widmore. Of course.
Managing Director.
So Widmore and Paik know each other well.
Widmore knows what really happened on the island an such.
Common interests. Of finding the island?
We're not the only ones who left the island. Hmm.
Good command decisions get compromised by bad emotional responses. Oh, that's such bullshit, Ben.
Ben is passing the reins to Locke? And I wouldn't be too sure that Locke is going to be better at reining in his emotions.
Silly Locke, you should know by now that Ben and The Others never answer questions. Just like Strawberry's warren.
Ben's going to change?
Sawyer makes it back to the beach. And he's shirtless, which should please some people.
Sawyer missed the explosion?
Juliet and Sawyer. And Charlotte and Miles are somewhere. How many people were left behind?

Part III
Changing into a parka. Ah, so that's how it happens. He goes from here and now to the future in Tunisia.
He's going somewhere cold. Well, not really, as it turns out.
Jacob told Locke what to do, but he didn't tell him how. He wants Ben to do it because he wants Ben to suffer the consequences. How is Ben getting that?
Whoever moves the island can never come back.
The Others are ready, willing, and able to share what they know, and then they will follow your every word. So Locke becomes Peter Pan in Ben's place. And how do The Others decide who they want to follow and why don't they just lead themselves?
Ben apologizes. I don't think that Locke is the one you should be apologizing to. He's probably the one person who's life you haven't ruined.
Ben's got serious emotional problems.
You'll find your way, John; you always do. OK, then.
Locke meets The Others. Welcome home.
So putting the metal in The Vault blew it up, thereby revealing a tunnel.
Going down further and further. An ancient place.
Oh, and I guess Ben did need the jacket.
This place is very cold for the same reason they needed to keep putting liquid nitrogen on the bomb?
And that's how Ben injures his arm.
It's a cog wheel!
I hope you're happy now, Jacob.
Also, I imagine that the polar bears would have been quite happy in this place,
Weird noise.
Why is it glowing? Glowiness spreads everywhere. Oop, the island's gone.
And that's how it happens.
And I'm guessing that the zodiac was within the glowy zone?
Oh yeah, that nearby island where the the hydra was. Is that considered part of the island or not?
Helicopter's going down.

Part IV
People floating in the water, very pretty.
Hey, I wonder if you listen to whispers under water they are intelligible, like how the Probe's signal in Star Trek IV had to be listened to under water in order for it to make sense.
Parallel to the original plane crash.
Desmond! Is he going to live or not?
Yay! He's alive!
Kate asleep in the flashforward. Parallel to the scene where Penny gets a phone call about Desmond.
Clicking on the phone. And whispers.
Claire! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't you dare bring Aaron back to the island. Except it was a dream.
Older Aaron.
Baby Aaron. It's a miracle.
John refuses to believe that the island was moved. What does he think happened?
A boat!
Now Jack thinks that they have to lie about what happened?
Ah, if they say what really happened, then whoever did the coverup is going to target them and the other survivors. Well gosh, why didn't Locke just say so in the first place?
And are we for certain that Widmore was the one who staged the wreckage at this point, or is that still an open question?
What language is that?
Searcher.
It's Penny! HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!
AWWWWW.....Penny/Desmond reunion.
So what are Penny and Desmond doing in the future?
Phone call. Tracking station.
So how do they explain the Oceanic 6 being with Desmond and Frank?

Coda
One week later.
Membata.
Ah, so Penny agreed to the coverup, which is going work because she knows her dad. But will the crew on her boat all keep their mouths shut?
And what is Frank doing in the future?
See ya in another life, brother.
I guess The Oceanic 6 have to pretend that they don't know Desmond and Penny.
Reentering the world.
Back to FuglyBeardJack.
The funeral home. He's going to break in?
Parallels to dealing with Christian's coffin.
Locke! Oh no, it's Ben.
He told Jack that Ben was off the island.
After the Oceanic 6 left the island, some very bad things happened, and it was their fault for leaving and that they had to come back.
It's dark, Jack, very dark. Ya think?
The island won't let Jack come alone. All have to go back together.
This is the way it has to be; it's the only way. But whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?
Ben has a few ideas. Of course he does.
They're going to have to bring Bentham too.
And Bentham is Locke! OMGWTFBBQ!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Also, Locke looks like Daddy Warbucks here.

Wow, genuine happy emotion on Michael's face, for once. Huh. He's freaking brilliant. Freeze the electronics. "Quick! let's all get on the 'sploding boat! Wonder what Daniel has to say to Charlotte and Miles... "Surprised you want to leave" She's a... she was the little girl who went to school with Ben. Maybe?"Same thing all the Dharma stations are for. Silly experiments" Oooh! New dharma video! Edgar Halliwax? "Kasimir effect"? oh. He's putting inorganic material in the chamber. "If you mean time-traveling bunnies, then yes" for some reason that makes me giggle like mad. Benry's gonna cross the streams, packing all the metal in the bunny chamber. Ooh, she could be. Annie, I think it was.

Locke Locke Locke - all "where's my parka". Once you leave, you can't come back. Others check out and they can't check back in . . .And this is where Benry will jump to the desert, yes? Locke is getting everything he ever wanted, isn't he? Richard welcomes him home as leader of the Magical Island while Benry is sent of f in exile. Yep. This is before the jump to the desert for Benry. Tunnels!!! He's going into tunnels!!! He didn't use the machine thing that was in the Orchid, did he? Did he just go out the back wall of it and into tunnels, to a cold place on the island? And this is where the big Island Steering Wheel is? So, the helicopter people will be left behind, the Island people will "move" and the small boat people will . . . which one? Another crash. After all that crap, they get to go thru another crash. Well, damn, that sucks!! You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave?

Nice parellel with the opening scene of the series, there, all calm and quiet. C'mon, Brother! you've lived through much worse than this! ya know, guys, it works better if you have TWO people doing it.. well, it worked well enough as it was. Flashback to the future. Kate's house. Guess who's calling again? I guess it isn't Jack. Crap, it's the midget from Twin Peaks. And like any sensible American, Kate owns a gun to kill.. CLAIRE?!?! HOLY CRAP!!!! AAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Unless we like, overlooked it, dude, that's what he did" Good for Hurley. Boat! Boat boat! is it the refugees from the island? or someone with a gun again? This went poorly the last time.. "People that we left behind, wherever they wound up" The Oceanic Six. Plus two. Oh! It's Penny's boat! Oh, happy day! at least one happy reunion here! oh, the looks on their faces are beautiful and magnificent.... Odysseus finally comes home. Oh, yeah. Another parallel.
