Dad's free now, finally. I've been alternately imagining a big grey wolf loping through the forest, or maybe a bear if they're made grey anywhere. Perhaps a wolf, as Mom has said she wants to howl like one for him. I asked her if she wanted my sister and me to leave so she could do it alone at some point, but she said no, as she's got a lot of alone time coming up when we go home. We are going to have a meal with Chris and Darcy in a little bit, to honor him. I hope they're not making artichoke lasagna. Peace and love to everyone. The basketball game was kind of dead so there weren't many people getting H1N1 shots. But I did do one. Technique was pretty bad, but the guy didn't seem like he was in any pain and he's vaccinated and all, so...yay? Yay. |

There's a sick stalker type f*cker out there who still can't get over searching the S'cubie board for information about me and my life to the point where I didn't myself get to pass on the news about my dad to my own kids today, and who lied and said the source of the information came from Facebook. It's a shocking new low even from where I thought things just couldn't get lower.

There's a sick stalker type f*cker out there who still can't get over searching the S'cubie board for information about me and my life to the point where I didn't myself get to pass on the news about my dad to my own kids today, and who lied and said the source of the information came from Facebook. It's a shocking new low even from where I thought things just couldn't get lower. Oh, for fuck's sake! What in hell kind of animal would pull that kind of trick? Apropos of nothing in particular... We finally watched Dr Horrible, with the Younger Daughter. She's seen half the first season of BtVS and for some reason read about DH on the internets, so she was interested. Kitty was absolutely entranced. One of these days, we really need to get back to watching Buffy with her. I think I've talked her into reading Northanger Abbey, by the way - Catherine Morland is just about her age, and it's a very silly book, both of which should appeal. Paul and I howled at Nathan Fillion, who is amazingly silly. It is a very Joss thing, though - of course he just had to kill somebody.   Speaking of Nathan Fillion, this week's Castle? Two words: Whipped cream.  |
