Thanks for all the S'cubie support over the past few days. There's nothing like it. You're more than welcome - and I'm sorry you have to deal with extra aggravation. Take good care of yourself, and don't let others get you down with them.

Emily rolled over from her back to her front. I am both very pleased, and very worried about the non-baby-proofness of our house. Better start getting busy. Rolling over is just the beginning.

Dad's free now, finally. I've been alternately imagining a big grey wolf loping through the forest, or maybe a bear if they're made grey anywhere. Perhaps a wolf, as Mom has said she wants to howl like one for him. I asked her if she wanted my sister and me to leave so she could do it alone at some point, but she said no, as she's got a lot of alone time coming up when we go home. We are going to have a meal with Chris and Darcy in a little bit, to honor him. I hope they're not making artichoke lasagna. Peace and love to everyone. This is Mom and Dad right after they got married. Your resemblence to your Mom is startling, but I see some of your Dad too. Please accept my deepest condolences and gratitude that your father's ordeal is over. Please give my phone number to your Mom. I'm aware that she doesn't know me, but that can be helpful when you want to talk without feeling judged or that you might be upsetting someone. I do love your imagry. I like the image of the wolf. I have an acquaintance who is something of a medium. When she heard Ian was gone she began looking for him. After a few miniutes she opened her eyes and said "I see him with two other men. There is water nearby. He is happy. His message to you is, 'I'm free!'"

We've got snow! About 1/2 an inch fell this morning, but it's already starting to melt, and is expected to change over to rain this afternoon. But, they're saying it's supposed to switch back over to snow tonight, and we could possibly get 2-4 inches, maybe more. And the high tomorrow is supposed to only be 33 degrees, so what we get might actually stick around for longer than an hour or two. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

I have gone walkies. Just to the market and back, but it's a start.
On the way out, I was attacked by an attention-seeking feline missile greeted by a neighbor-cat, Nala. She's shy and selective in her friendships, but she's decided that I am not only a safe person, but one who MUST PET CAT. She's a lovely and unusual creature, a calico with tabby-striped orange and black patches, and beautiful green eyes. If I ever get a decent photo of her, I'll share.
On the way back, I spotted Chloe, the 300-block greeter, who declined to come out from under her humans' pickup. Once I hit the home block, however, it was all cats all the way - Nala demanded another affection-fix, and Shadow took over at the edge of our property. When last seen, they were about ten feet apart and engaged in competitive rolling in the sun. Cat Olympic sports - reeling and writhing and fainting in coils...

There's a sick stalker type f*cker out there who still can't get over searching the S'cubie board for information about me and my life to the point where I didn't myself get to pass on the news about my dad to my own kids today, and who lied and said the source of the information came from Facebook. It's a shocking new low even from where I thought things just couldn't get lower. I wish there was something I could do about this. But, other than making the content of the site available to only registered members and then banning those members' IPs once it comes to light they are misusing our resource, I have no idea how to accomplish it. That, of course, is no solution since it sorta kills the whole idea of this place. I know how troubling this has been to you ever since the sick stalker problem surfaced. *hug* I hope that eventually the problem resolves itself in the fact that the SSTF sees that they aren't going to get anymore of a rise out of you and that they are just being a juvenile bitca interfering needlessly and counter productively to their own life. Don't let the assholes win. It's like cyber-terrorism: They only win when they get you to stop living your life normally. Vlad

I'm dog-sitting for my sister's family and my parents while they vacay in Florida. These two are a bundle of energy but very lovable.

Pretty much outside of the bounds of mere fatigue today. Still have to drag people out of bed and get the day started somehow.
Julia, I hear sleep is good stuff; wish I got some
