At lunchtime, I set my glove on the bare railing of my parents' back porch while I was taking photos. Right now? That same railing has 6 inches of snow on it.

Can you even imagine what it'd be like to keep her in a sled while it's going downhill? Or maybe you can and that's why you want me to try.

Funny you should ask. . .. I think I posted this very same question a couple of weeks ago. I've watched a couple of eps. What do you think of it? I finally got caught up last night. It started out slow (as far as me liking it), but I loved the latest episode. Boy, they take graphic to a whole 'nother level, don't they? ;D I got more queasy over that ep "The Thing in the Pit" (I think that's what it was called) than I have over pretty much anything I've seen over the past several years. Also? They are taking slashy subtext and doing they're damnedest to make it text. ;D Except for where it is text--the relationship between that one macho guy (is he a gladiator or a bodyguard or trainer?) and the slave surprised and pleased me. Or actually, what really pleased me was how everyone else reacted to it, in that they didn't really even bat an eye. Also also?? Lucy Lawless is a freakin' goddess, and she rocks my world. What do you think of it? What channel/network whatever is this on? And when? Or maybe I can find it On Demand . . . .

I walked to the market. My feet are still thawing. Yes, I know, effete Californian whining about the weather... Oh, yes, now I remember - I think you did thank me for the calendars. I know you mentioned Franklin in that context. Whatever, don't worry about it. This made me smile because just yesterday I was thinking that in the fall I'd have been wearing a coat when it was 35° outside, yet there I was blithely walking around outside with a hooded sweatshirt I hadn't even zipped up all the way. Funny how that can work, huh? So true, so true!! ;D 40 degrees in the Fall? Brrr! 40 degrees in April? Break out the shorts!

**shimmies into the thrall room** What's the hap, s'cubies? I'm watching Raj and Howard be all adorably couple-esque on Big Bang and taking in some pants. I know, I know. HOW can I stand such excitement? Well, someone has to live the life of Riley and I'm willing to take one for the team. Booyah! Entertain me, s'cubies! Make up lascivious tales of excess and debauchery! Tell me about the exciting day you had, paddling up the Amazon this morning or ballooning to Peru for lunch! Regale me with the saga of your dinner last night with Vermeer and Miyamoto Musashi! Post a picture of yourself in thigh-high leather boots and a Teflon-lace teddy, straddling a vintage Allis-Chalmers tractor! So you're part of the Initiative now? Did we know this? Do you have a chip embedded in your chest? I wish I could tell you something exciting to entertain you. Let's see...let's see... Um, I saw someone spin out on the road right in front of me on the way to work this morning. That was momentarily exciting! Especially when I noted that it was a Toyota. But the car stopped and no one hit it, and everyone was OK, so not all that exciting. Then, on the the highway, I saw an SUV in a ditch and a woman shoveling it out. That was semi-interesting...but then I drove past and kept my eyes on the road, so that I wouldn't end up joining her! So, that's my excitement so far! I am chipless and fancy-free! **does chipless dance** Eeep on the spin out in front of you! You could always just make up imaginary exiting things and tell me about them. That's what I do at parties. Well, that and my chipless dance. **shimmies some more**

Cool fungus pics! The black and white one especially. Julia, 2 1/2 hours in the dentist chair (but no root canal, YAY!) means no time for photography, even if it weren't raining, ugh No root canal! Good news! Oh, you know it. Of course that mostly means I get to have another crown replaced sometime around St. Patrick's day. Julia, ooooo, FUN!

Cool: I just tried on a belt I've been trying to replace for months on account of it not going around, and now it does. I can do it up and everything. Win!

For those who have been missing Glee. Except this is just one guy doing all the parts. Hey, that's pretty good.
