Morning, S'cubies.ERIN: Vibes still going out for your dad. MATTHEW: Sorry to hear about your mom, hope she is doing better. SUE: Enjoy the retreat and relatives, and yes - pop in when you can. ALL S'CUBES: Enjoy the day - looks like we are going to have a flirtation with sunshine today before going back to the gloom for the rest of the week. Lost was awesome last night. Monnie - did you read my lj post? It's like Lost and Supernatural are all entwinned right now. No, I haven't been to LJ yet. And I still have yet to see last night's Lost. I may try to watch it online at lunch if they have it up yet. My boss is pissed at me for not watching it. ;D

Bleah. Yesterday was a total and complete bust. I was so tired, and so down, that after everybody left I just went back to bed. Dozed off and on, had nightmares. Didn't get anything done, useful or ornamental. Today at minimum I have to go out to the vet and TJs. Anything beyond that, I dunno. It all seems like too much work. Keeping for Erin and her dad, and for success in getting Dragon's arm put back together. Matthew, she's lucky to have such a devoted and caring son.

There could be something stuck underneath that's causing the problem.

There could be something stuck underneath that's causing the problem. This would also be my advice. Also vacumming it, if those don't work. Shaking, first, then canned air, then vacuuming, than, alas, new keyboard. Only, before tht last, see if it works with someone elses keyboard; you may need to reload your keyboard driver. Julia, stupid hard-to-clean easy to jam modern keyboards

Very cool. I sent it to Carolyn. P.O. performs at "her" comedy venue sometimes.

Like the "scroll lock", "insert", etc -- one of them may have something to do with it? Ask the question on a geek forum?

am in class am watching INCREDIBLY BORING 'The Singing Detective' I feel we got as much out of it as we were going to about, oh, three hours ago? isn't anything new happening. BORING.
nobody else can play games on their computer. I aren't playing games. That would be unhelpful. But nobody can tell what I'm typing. so.
bored now.

I tried and tried to watch that show (Franklin loved it) and it just put me to sleep with really stupid dreams (not frightening, boring: standing in line and having one's parcels come unwrapped dreams). I thought I was the only one! Julia, similarly, I have an answer to people who say Fringe is an Xfiles knock off: No, Fringe keeps me interested, Xfiles made me want to clean the refrigerator.

There could be something stuck underneath that's causing the problem. I took it to IT support after class and they fixed it. Wouldn't tell me how it happened and what they did to correct it, though. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

It is so so so boring. Nothing happens! Or quite a lot happens but not strung together in cause and effect. It's about theme instead, and his psychology. Blah. I should care about his mind for why? It didn't bother with that bit. And then there's the sex scenes. Repeatedly. And the people dying. And the muddling the two up, pictures fading into each other and soundtracks muddled. And it thinks it's being clever. Teach keeps saying it's brilliant. It's not brilliant. Boo. teacher says in the last episode it ends up all making sense. so we'll be watching more of it next week.

This is very exciting! I don't read comic books normally, but I really like the idea of Patton and Joss working together in some fashion. PO is so great as the talk show host on Caprica. I figured he was a major sci fi geek anyway because he does this rant in his stand up about how if he was ever given the power to time travel, he would use power that solely to kill George Lucas with a shovel. He would time travel to just before Lucas had a chance to make the Star Wars prequels. It is side-splitting funny.
