Oh! and happy belated birthday, my dear squirrel-sister! No, wait! Yay! this gets in a bit under the Pacific Time wire! so, happy regular-type birthday, Julia! Thanks ever so, m'dear. Had a pretty good birthday; Sam showed up while I was still working, so I got a couple of heavy things out of the way as well as the lilies planted; he got me a book of Tom Robbins short stories and a Night Court dvd. Anna's not getting enough hours to buy anything, of course, and Franklin and I are going mattress shopping on Saturday, so things are still sifting in. Julia, unlikely to get anything from anyone else, as per usual

I swear, if I see one more word in this auction text capitalized for emphasis every single S'cubie will hear my brain explode no matter where you live... So SORRY that you have to DEAL with that! If it'd been that bad you'd have already heard the explosion. A more accurate representation would be: So Sorry that You have to deal with That!

Man, I think that is even worse. I mean, if you do it THIS WAY, at least you can tell it is for emphasis, which can be legit if you're not sure what formatting the receiver is going to see (I mean, if you use "bold" or "italics" or "underline," that can be a dicey way of emphasizing, if you're sending an electronic doc that might be viewed in a variety of viewers). The other way, I mean, This Way, it looks more like I just don't understand the definition of a proper noun. Capitalizing just the first letter, for emphasis? Blech. Since when? I Hate That. Of course, it sounds like you're talking more about the frequency of the emphasis being added, than the method, here. Either way:
