Welcome to the Soulful Spike Society Main Thread Part 1103. The cat is completely dead, but we're still here. If you're curious about a show, or feel like discussing one you're into? Check out our I Love, Love, LOVE TV thread. We've even got show threads for Torchwood, Doctor Who, Dollhouse, and the ongoing Whedon 'fest that is the S3.
And it wouldn't kill you to check out our website! We've got fanfic, pretty pictures, and reviews. We like to think it's pretty awesome...
One thing some people have NO curiousity about is spoilers. If you know something juicy that hasn't aired, posting it on the main board is a good way to get eaten. Spoilers belong in the Spoiled Souls thread; if you want to talk about casting spoilers, the little ghosty button above is for you and if you want to talk about a show that just aired, please mark in BIG LETTERS.
And if you're brave and/or curious enough to talk politics, religion, or other touchy topics? Venture into out our Open Topics Thread. No biting!
Now, go explore all the hollows of the S3!

Erin, heeeee. Huh. Firsties. Be must be sleeping. Heh. Glad you like it. I'm in fairly good spirits today. I rewrote (longhand) the first page of my thesis, using a scene from Bones as my inspiration. Apparently, I can't watch ANYTHING without it being fodder. That's somewhat relieving. Also, had a long conversation with my sister this morning. I am apparently living in bizarro world.

So jealous of the Hooded Merganser photos; I just don't have the lens for it yet. The bird on the windvane is probably an Alder Flycatcher, btw. Julia, birds, birds, birds, oh, dear.

Juliet Landau guest starred in an episode of Parker Lewis Can't Lose where she played a maybe-a-vampire. Interesting.

This was Vince's favorite show as a tween. No idea if it's rerunning on TV or not. It just came out on DVD (well, seasons 1 and 2, but they're releasing season 3 soon I hope) . I'm watching it via Netflix.

So I was puppy piled on Facebook yesterday and while I was thinking of leaving the board, I am returning for my sporadic, barely there posting. I do love you guys, I just am so seldom around and many times feel like I'm talking to myself. And it must be admitted, I do spend more time twittering than anything else these days.
Still . . . . . . you guys did a great job of making me feel guilty. ;D And yes, twitter/Facebook does not have smiley icons Karen.
So I'm good, getting ready to go to our last Legend competition this weekend, getting ready for my daughter's wedding in a few weeks, getting ready for a cabaret performance next weekend and doing my usual writing gigs. What's up with everyone else?

What's up with everyone else? I'm currently debating how much supplemental caffeine I'm going to need to get through this day. Oh, and I've got to go to a cocktail party with the trustees tonight. I know, I know—I've really got to get off this whirligig of fun I'm currently riding.

I'm running on caffeine as I couldn't sleep last night after the SPN finale so I stayed up late watching NCIS reruns. I mostly didn't want to think and it was good for mindless watching.

What's up with everyone else? Glad we'll be seeing your sporadic posts . . . but do what is right for you, Pixi-poo. I know we joked with you, but it was truly about saying hi, not an attempt at guilt-inducing. I did watch the SPN finale - thought it was pretty exciting, though because I have missed a bunch of eps, some stuff confused me. As always, I liked the low-key, yet really, really evil portrayal of Lucifer.
