Well, that was an entertaing night: windstorms from dark until the wee hours, and then a little earthquake before my alarm went off.
Stupid living planet.
Julia, not so awfully well rested.

I am in class. We're waiting for the teacher to make the DVD player work. So far there's sound but no picture. We're going to watch 15 minutes of Cold Comfort Farm. If she can make the technology work. At all. Ever.

Once again, my coffee cup is empty and the coffee is all the way over in the kitchen...
Julia, and I have to get my hair washed, so when I get up I should just keep moving until that's finished.

... okay, everyone else's nights win at annoying Yours still sounds pretty annoying to me. Has she got it working yet? it worked, for 15 minutes of boring, and then it made a noise like EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE or a distant fire alarm because she hadn't turned it off properly. My head full of noise. Full. also I did working in groups with people who were made of tangent. I should be packing up right now.

Heya S'cubies! I'm in Fangirl mode right now... So, I'm planning my Birthday Party. I' haven't had one since I was, oh, some where around 8. My Birthday always falls on Thanksgiving weekend, so there was always too much travel or family stuff or other stuff to have a party when I was a kid. Heck half the time I didn't even get cake. Had pie. So. This year we are having a party. And it's themed. I'm going to have a Firefly themed party! Everyone needs to dress up and we're going to have homemade chinese food, and probably have Firefly playing in the background. I'm going to make a cake like Simon's from Out of Gas, only not like Simon's cause it's going to be made with flour, not protein. We're going to make Bao, from Our Mrs. Reynolds and some version of Mudder's milk from Jaynestown. We also have various other Dim Sum recipes that we're going to put together Right now I'm trying to figure out decorations. Do you guys have some ideas? Suggestions? Recommendations for recipes?

Some of our links are not working. Tried to go to the Sherlock link in ILLLTV and it wouldn't go. Had similar problems yesterday.

... okay, everyone else's nights win at annoying Sadly, a competition one dearly wants to lose. I had a great night ---- well into the morning. Speaking of weather (Julia): iconic November day here: overcast, damp, wind blowing leaves all around. Great --- especially because the sun comes back tomorrow and by Monday it's 70 again --- which makes days like today much more enjoyable. (Not to mention that the damp disallows the painters to put another layer of varnish on the doors -- don't get me wrong, the doors need finishing but currently any day with no extra bodies in the house is a big win for me. Off to use it wisely. Well, wisely after getting up late and then finishing the Jim Butcher book of short stories from the Dresden universe. Final story is "Aftermath" written from Murphy's POV after the events of "Changes." Good golly Miss Molly.

Just go back through the archives and pick them up wherever she's scattered them. Should be enough for at least two volumes.
