Neat. MONNIE: They appear to be in Niagara Falls, Ontario (our home away from home). I want to go back there again. Niagara, Vermont, Montreal. I want to do them all again!

I'm trying NOT to see the snow, as child #2 may have to drive thru it's aftermath.

Here is the "world peace" bracelet I made as a Christmas gift for my stepmom: Gorgeous! I love the structure of it - the three silver bands, the large globe, delicate peace symbols. Nice job!

Post by Julia, wrought iron-y on Dec 11, 2010 22:04:42 GMT -5
My cousin's pregnant daughter had to be rescued when her car got stuck in a drift in Minnesota today; meanwhile, I got rained through three layers of clothing and forgot to towel off when I put dry clothes on, so I went grocery shopping wet: I'll take wet. Julia, although December is a bit too melodramatic this year.

The whole world seems to be holding its breath, and the sky is the color of silver buried in a midden for a hundred years. Julia, well, at least it won't be snowCool visual descriptive wordsmithing, Julia. The worst of the bad storm system isgoing to miss us, thanks to a warmer flow of air from your neck of the woods. Looks like freezing rain later on will be the worst of it. Lola, Onjel and Michelle will dumped on big time. Oh, man. I know Lola has already been dumped on by the snow. None here, yet, though. I'm hoping we don't actually get the 10 inches they're predicting. Is Michelle back in MI for Christmas? Hopefully, she'll still be in Colorado during this onslaught of snow. Love that description, Julia. It's very evocative of our skies.
