Hey there - posting from my new iPad and also from Oregon. Emily has gone Sleepless on us, and I have a major migraine. However, I also have interesting data from my first student, and my first mini grant was funded. How's things? What do you think about traveling a little farther north, just to be able to say that Emily is "Sleepless in Seattle?" Not worth it? Yay for the Ipad, the data, and the mini-grant!

Or the full moon. Love the little snowmen in the Cuties box. Had a nice dinner with the middle son and my sister and her husband in the new little bar in town called C230. It's a tapas bar, and everyone thinks you are saying 'topless'. Very modern for my little backwater town. C230Love the XXX-mas spirit in your avatar there, Karen.

Oh, and to baby and hubby and you and all. ;D Thinks are snowy here, but warmer. So far, it's lovely. It needs a case and screen protector, so the Munchkin can be allowed to touch it (it's making her NUTS that I won't let her play, too). It does almost everything my laptop can do, except easy word processing.

Argh. So speaking of being less than thrilled with the real estate agent, she brought somebody by the house just now, with no warning whatsoever. The house is a *complete* mess. Well, at least this girl she showed the house to is a student, undergraduate, not med student, but she seemed kind of iffy about living here, so who knows. If the agent gives you no warning at all, then it is certainly her own fault if a potential renter is scared off. ...and you are justified in chewing her ass out most rigorously. Diane *having an odd morning. Can you tell?*

I'm thinking of getting one, but they're awfully big to carry in a handbag like I do my Kindle. Emily's sleeplessness--is she teething again? Molars can do that. Yay for mini-grantage! Money = Always Useful.

Diane *having an odd morning. Can you tell?*I could, but I probably won't, cause it'll give me wiggle room later, should I need it. At the very least, it means I won't have to feel guilty about anything in my dealings with them.
