I have had my Saturday morning out, for the first time in more than two weeks. I went to yard sales (which were mostly baby crap and Christmas junk, but I got some pretty vintage bottles at the first one), had my coffee shop breakfast while I reread Have His Carcase and brought the other half home for Kitty's lunch (the food, not the book, which I'm still reading), picked up the thread I need for Emily's new curtains, went to Borders and got a novel I've been meaning to read ( Waking Up in the Land of Glitter by Kathy Cano-Murillo) and my free chai latte, and stopped by Cost Plus, found a tea infuser small enough to fit into my personal thermos and some interestingly colored pasta, and had a nice wander around the store. I am now carefully hoarding the last of my energy, because we're cleaning out the lumber room today, and as soon as Paul gets the boxes of ornaments out, I have to reorganize the chest of drawers full of craft supplies, to make space for Emily's new candle-making tools etc. But I got out of the house for fun, for the first time since before Christmas. Terrorist fist bump, everybody. TFB back at you.

And numb from the news. Julia, such a bad day for trying to stay hopeful.

No, don't bother entering. I have decided that I am winning this, so what's the point?

No, don't bother entering. I have decided that I am winning this, so what's the point? House, car and cash. It would be nice, wouldn't it? I don't ski myself but I bet I could find friends, dontchaknow?

I have more to say on this, but I think I'll take it over to the Open Topics thread.

Yes, true, but also necessary for character development of the both of them. And besides, I'm obsessive about reading or rereading series in the proper order and not skipping any of them.

Went to a very interesting, cool, thought-provoking and stunningly emotional puppet-dance-song-theater event-thing last knight at the Walker Art Center. A performance by Betontanc / Umka.LV (collaboration between a Slovenian dance-theatre company and Latvian acting collective) of Show Your Face!. The main character is a puppetized tiny snow-suit and it was amazing! You can see a short video with snippets in it here, but it can't possibly show you the amazing depth of how real that little empty snow-suit becomes.

Glad you are continuing to post some shots. I think this is my favorite Kaylee shot yet: I miss VT! Maybe I will try to come see Kaylee you and Rich this spring.
