This place is so odd. I never see my classmates; I may as well still be on my own in Wyoming. I did eventually figure out who I'm sharing a bathroom with, though, so at least that's not so odd anymore. Also, my current preceptor has a really thick accent and I'm starting to hear my inner voice with his accent. It's weird. Dude. I do that too sometimes. I think it's referred to as being an immersionist, or something like that.

HA!!!! Chris Melogna as Tony Bologna! Thank you! I needed that. That cracked my shit up when I saw it. I especially liked the sheer number of places he...ahem...stored his pepper spray.

I sure hope so. It would be difficult, what with the character deaths and all, but hey, if we can find out Book's backstory I'd sure love it.

Was sick all day yesterday, not feeling so awefully spiffing right now- trying to puke up the soles of your feet has some pain in the aftermath.
Julia, it was a disgusting day all around.

Hello to the imagery. And, Hope you feel better tomorrow. I'm moving, very slowly, but I'm moving. None of the animals are going hungry. I'm felling better by the minute, but there's a lot of bad to compensate for. Julia, vivid and not always appropriate, sorry.

*sigh* Wiped out at the market...a random piece of pineapple on the floor, so obviously my foot had to find it. I'm OK, but they called a manager over and made a big fuss, which is kind, but makes me even more embarrassed.

Oh, poor budgie! and I hope you are feeling better by now, or if not, very soon. Today I did laundry and the grocery shopping, ventured into Home Despot to buy Aged Mum a surprise little electric space heater (it was oddly deserted at 7:55AM), then Husband and I drove down to Costa Mesa. It was an adventure, of the traffic sort - there was a cryptic warning on the lightup Caltrans sign about a closed exit on the 55, then the traffic came to an abrupt stop, so we got off the freeway and went surface streets, which had crazy drivers and construction. The radio traffic news insisted that there was nothing in OC, nothing at all, traffic was flowing freely. Yeah. Right. On the way home on the 57, there was a cryptic message about the right lane being closed at Yorba Linda. It wasn't, it was closed just before Imperial. What the sign didn't mention, and nothing mentioned while there was still time to get off the freeway, was that the Imperial exit was closed. For planned construction, all day, from the look of it. So there we were, at noon, stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic with a bunch of people frantically trying to get off at the next exit, which was backed up all the way to the closed exit, two lanes'-worth of traffic... We went all the way up to Tonner Canyon, got off there and came back via the scenic route. At least we were able to find parking at the pho place, and a table, although they seemed to have drafted the family nitwit to wait tables and our order got a bit messed up. But we had lunch, late, and I found more paperback Kinsey Millhones for Aged Mum at the used bookstore in Orange, and a hardback copy of Deerskin for me and a replacement for our copy of D is for Disappeared Deadbeat, which is nowhere to be found.
