My day: paid bill, came home and washed jeans and two shirts, fed chickens and sheep pears, tethered out the sheep, hung laundry, gathered eggs, talked to my cousin about matters chickenish, moved sheep, talked to someone who wants Hamburg eggs, went with Anna and picked beans and basil and peppers at Margo's, came home to find Elvis and the Roches out, got them in, gave sheep alfalfa and clean water to bribe him into his pen, took laundry off line, had snack (brie, crackers, grapes) went to shop at tj's, came home and made frozen pizza for dinner...
OH: and then went out and turned off irrigation line and brought in the shirts I'd forgotten earlier, yarg. Now watching the TOS episode with Teri Garr.
Julia, will go to bed in an hour I hope.

Friends called us up and invited us to go to the shooting range with them, so the afternoon was spent destroying paper targets. I'm the onlyone of the four who doesn't have her own weapon. I did try Bob's new Beretta which I can't load, is too big for my hand and I liked anyway. The friends have a bloody arsenal ranging from a six-shooting revolver to some kind of semi-auto rifle (why?) that they kindly let me try.
I learned one thing. The arthritis in my spine is apparently progressing because my left hand (useful when loading) wouldn't cooperate in sliding open gun chambers. A also learned that the rifle (no idea what kind) was not Diane-friendly due to its mule-like kick.
I also learned that Walther PPQ is my weapon. I rented one. It's ideal for arthritic hands/spines and has a good feel.
Assessment: An afternoon at the range= Educational and fun. Oh my shooting? I have no idea. I aimed, fired, but couldn't see what I was hitting. Praise from everyone, though, indicates I did pretty well.

Perhaps a TP could create a new part?
I think it unlikely that this part will disappear, which is what prompted the 30 page limit in the past but, you know, tradition and what not.
Maybe Spring's scary baby could go on the first page.
