David, how did you get your picture so big? All I seem to get is a teeny tiny square that basically won't hold anything. If the picture distorts, set the height and width to different settings. I sort of wish it was automatic -- you set the height and it automatically sets the width to maintain proportions. I've had a fun time trying to find pictures of Wesley that didn't distort, mainly because I wasn't interested in playing with the settings to get it to not distort.

On the Bloody Awful Poet Society site, they have a whole bunch of nice Spike pics. You can choose one, then size it. I have mine 100 high by 80 wide, and it seems proportional. However, if you're gonna use these, click on the pic first because the thumbnails shown in the gallery don't necessarily have ALL the contents of the actual picture, which even may be a different shape.
I kind of like mine now. Nice Spike pic.

This is getting to be fascinating -- almost like the Emperor's New Clothes, only those most worthy can see Patti's picture. Like me. Or maybe it's sort of like Jasmine -- only some of us can see her true self, her true beauty. Or maybe I'm just completely full of it. Patti's picture is now officially the "edit button" of the new board. Except I had the edit button on ScoopMe.

[glow=red,2,300]ScoopMe is up!!!![/glow] Don't know how long it will last, but it's up! Dave, Looks like we're the only two here and I have got to head to bed. If you've got all the email addresses handy I think people would appreciate a heads up. I'd do it myself but after the virus scare I deleted all the S'cubie addresses from my address book and I'd have to type them all back in. Sue

I've no idea why I've become invisible girl to some, but I kinda like all the attention its getting me.

Dave, I like this pic you're currently using. The half-image is kind of kewl. It's one of the better pics I've found of Wesley's new, not dorkey look, which I like better than old dorkey Wesley. But he is hiding behind a wall or something, not sure what. This one is an official picture right off the WB homepage. So hopefully it will last as long as AtS does.

I can't see your pic Patti. I guess it makes sense, since I was often able to get the edit button.
Thanks for the tips on increasing the pic size. My willow pic looks much better now.
So, now that Scoopme's back, are we all heading back there until it closes down again? This is confusing.

So, now that Scoopme's back, are we all heading back there until it closes down again? This is confusing. I like your Willow pic, Julie. It seems a bit distorted though -- you might want to consider reducing your width a smidge -- maybe a pixel at a time until it looks right. But that's just my humble opinion. I love the pic though -- Halloween was one of my favorite early Willow episodes; I loved when she scared the dickens out of Giles by coming through the wall, and then she told him she was a ghost, and he wanted to know a ghost of what. As for moving, I'm with you. If ScoopMe continues to be unstable, like it was this weekend, we need to consider pulling up stakes and making our move soon. We'll have to move soon anyway to ensure we have time to archive our last posts before the lights get turned off on us. But there are folks who just don't like change, and are holding on to ScoopMe with white knuckles, for really no other reason than they are comfortable with it and this is new. I like it here, though. I've made no secret of that.

[quote author=Lee Hollins There, I think I have appeased the ScoopMe gods. Now if it comes back, I can claim it was all because of me!!! [/quote] Can you really ever appease the the technological gods? I think we have enough technological virgins to try.

Hey Dave! You've changed your 'slogan'(?)
Buggar! Now I've shown my technological-status.
