James. it's "amongst" only if you're Giles or possibly Spring.
Pray tell, madame, what are suggesting? Just betwixt you and me, I do think, indubitably, that my writing is actually rather on the informal side. Most certainly it is so, particularly when the comparison is made to Mr. Rupert Giles - about whom Spike says (to Dawn): "Good Lord, Giles writes as dull as he talks, doesn't he?"
;D

Just now caught up all the posts in Part 11. It's absolutely beautiful outside in Northeast Missouri, can't stay inside any longer--wish I had a laptop and a wireless Internet connection. See you all later.

Hmm, a good seat. The floor is mine. So....
Everyone here is either Spuffy luv4eva or at least Spuffy tolerant (I know who you are, Bangels), but what about Spillow. Surely I am not the only one to feel the bond between these two meta-humans stradling the line between the dark and the light. They get along pretty well, and Willow has been pretty much consistently in the "don't stake" camp when it comes to the scourge of Western Europe. Is this a missed opprotunity by Whedon and Co.? Have they squanderd valuable Spike/Willow interaction to have more shots of Buffy dusting a nameless vamp in darkened cemetary? Why? Why have these two not been given time to glow together?

Again, just wasting time (I'm actually eating lunch right now so I figured I would play on the board) so I went to BuffyGuide and voted for us.
We're now #5!! A WHOO and a HOO are definitely in order I think.

Let's vote Chicago-style: early, often and even after we're dead.

IGNORE: SEE MY POST #58
I've posted the part of Chapter 9 that's the sex scene as its own topic on the Main board and I'm asking for comments. The intended rating is R. There are no named personal body parts, basically no explicitly described actions except for some kissing. The questions are:
1. Does it work (whatever work means in this context) 2. As best you can tell, can it still be accurately described by an R rating? If not, what parts (pardon) cross that line?
I'll REALLY appreciate feedback on this before I send it out to the sites carrying the story.

Most certainly it is so, particularly when the comparison is made to Mr. Rupert Giles - about whom Spike says (to Dawn): "Good Lord, Giles writes as dull as he talks, doesn't he?" ;D I'm suggesting that Giles, and some Canadians, commit Brit-speak in public, and "amongst" is certifiably Brit-speak. Nothing more offensive than that (by intention, if not in execution).

Where is that bleeding vote thing? I've been all over that site and can't find it. Go to the S3 site and enter so you're looking at the frames (screen divided into different sections) Click on the biggest section to the right, the New Stuff header, and scroll down to the bottom of it. The voting boxlet for BuffyGuide is there. 10 is the best, as a vote. And may many others go and do likewise.

Where is that bleeding vote thing? I've been all over that site and can't find it. Diane - I think the easiest way to vote is off our website. Go to the main page of the website and scroll to the bottom where there is a message from Vlad about being added to BuffyGuide. Pick the score (10!! 10!! All the way!!) and click submit or go or whatever the button is. That should take you directly to BuffyGuide where it will say something like "Thank you for voting." Try this way out and see if it works.

Have they squanderd valuable Spike/Willow interaction to have more shots of Buffy dusting a nameless vamp in darkened cemetary? Why? Why have these two not been given time to glow together? Josh, Perhaps Joss didn't examine the possibilities because it would have been horribly awkward after Willow "became" gay. Nor would she have horned in on Buffy. BUT there is a ton of Spike/Willow fanfic out there. Whole websites. Some of it is, of course, NC-17, but not all. There's a lot of stuff written where Spike and Willow meet in England after her meltdown and either before or away his soul, or even AU where instead of a soul he gets the chip out or some such. (On fanfiction.net there are 72 pages if you enter Spike and Buffy as the two characters; Buffy and Angel produce 26 pages; Spike and Willow yield 7 pages (about 140 fics) and Spike and Xander are 6). But a lot of people don't post on fanfiction. Buffyguide.com lists two links to specifically Spike/Willow sites, but I know I've run into individual fics in a lot of places
