Woo HOO! Sooo cool, we are. As JM would say We are the SH*T!' (only, without the little asterisk...) Is THAT whay I've been saying that all the time?? "The Sh*t" seems to be my new expression... I was trying on some very awesome boots last night and I say to my friend "These are the sh*t!". And this seems to be popping up quite a bit in my vocab these days. I have been wondering where I picked it up. But of couse BtVS would make the most sense.

Is anyone else having problems getting the pages to display? I can get to a page here and there but I mostly keep getting a 'this page cannot be displayed' message or an error page. Is this just on my end?

Hmm, a good seat. The floor is mine. So.... Everyone here is either Spuffy luv4eva or at least Spuffy tolerant (I know who you are, Bangels), but what about Spillow. Surely I am not the only one to feel the bond between these two meta-humans stradling the line between the dark and the light. They get along pretty well, and Willow has been pretty much consistently in the "don't stake" camp when it comes to the scourge of Western Europe. Is this a missed opprotunity by Whedon and Co.? Have they squanderd valuable Spike/Willow interaction to have more shots of Buffy dusting a nameless vamp in darkened cemetary? Why? Why have these two not been given time to glow together? I would have to agree with Sue's thoughts - that Willow being gay would have made a Spillow pairing seem off, and add that if you consider that Willow went from a serious realtionship with OZ, to becoming involved with Tara - a lover's walk with Spike in there would have probably upset some fans. And, I have always felt that Willow was too timid a personality to be completely comfortable with Spike. This was a very interesting question, and made me think about other characters that could have sparkage with Spike. IMHO Faith/Spike would be VERY interesting - as prompted by someone who mentioned earlier (Patti I think?) that Faith/Spike was a highlight of Dirty Girls. Fike? Spaith?

I have found the oddest expressions popping out of my mouth. People look at me like "huh?" I'll say "my bad", "5 by 5", but I haven't said "the sh*t" , yet. If I read it enough times on the s'cubie board, i'm sure i'll start saying it.

Is this just on my end? I've been having problems for the past few days. I'll do something as simple as try to go to the next page and I'll get a "Cannot find server" message. Of course today, when I have the DSL guy scheduled to come sometime between 1 and 5 (so obviously he's not here yet), it's behaving impeccably. Yesterday, the on-line tech guy told me I apparently had a "weak signal" so we'll see what the deal is. Do you have dial-up or broadband? I'm convinced humidity gums up the works and it's finally starting to feel Midwestern summer humid - it was already 70 when I finished my walk at 6:30 this morning. Yuck.

Nan, I sent you some not very helpful feedback in an IM but neglected to address the rating. I think an R rating is fine. It is definitely no NC-17 and I think it is even tame for an "R". Really, the "R" can only apply to the naughty images your words conjure in the mind in the reader. I haven't been very helpful either, but agree that it isn't even a hard R. It is wonderfully written, it's my bad that I keep losing it as I read.

Diane, I know I posted an answer to you on this yesterday girl! You can vote on our own site. (Scroll down the 'new stuff' section.) To see the results, on Buffyguide, go to 'link database' and then to 'top rated'. You'll see the current standings of the sites they are linked to. Patti, I might have missed it. Since time is terribly tight for me these days, if I fall hopelessly behind, I sometimes skip over a couple of pages of posts to catch up. Occasionally this causes the reading to make little sense and now and then I miss something really important.

Yeah, thats what I've been getting too. We have broadband and its been pretty dodgy lately I never know when we are going to have a good signal. I can be surfing along just fine and then all of a sudden everything stops. Kinda irritating. I always say I'll take Missouri heat over Missouri cold any day. I guess I'm weird. I like the humid.

I replied to your story in part 11. But forgot - R rating, not NC 17. Again, I must say it is truly beautiful. I totally like your idea re:vampire sex. There is just not enough romance in the world and Spike and Angel are certainly the men to inspire such scenes!

I guess I'm weird. I like the humid. You said it first . Personally, I say "Thank God for air conditioning." If I don't drink enough water in this weather, I get humidity headaches. If I do drink enough water, I spend all my time in the w.c. I'll take winter anyday but then, you're more in the snowband than I am - the big storms always seem to go north or south of us so you're entitled to complain.

Oh I'm not the first person to say I was weird ;D, I just like to reaffirm the idea once in a while. The thing about winter is that I have cabin fever so bad by Feb. that I just want to open the windows for fresh air. The kids had so many snow days (and sick days, we had a couple of epidemics this year that closed school) this year it was almost June before they got out.

Hi Sue. After talking to Becky I've decided its on my end. Is your broadband provider Mediacom, by any chance? I've talked to a few of my friends here in town and we're all having the same kinds of problems. It's annoying for me but one guy is a cartoonist (he works on The Green Arrow; how cool is that?) and depends on the computer to be able to do his job so this is especially sucky for him. The DSL guy now has 51 minutes left in which to show. Shall we place bets?

I think I meant relationship in a broad sense, ecompassing romance, but not limited to it. During the writing of that post I never thought about whether either character found the other attractive, I was just thinking about how great (and far too few) their scenes together are.
Nan-I look forward to reading that.
I think over all, all the characters should have interacted more sans Buffy. It made sense in high school, and they logically changed and lessened that bond afterwards, but they never really replaced it with anything.
