Deborah, I'm a scanning coordinator at a grocery store. We're the people responsible for making sure all the prices are correct, hanging signs, etc. We had a weekend ad that ended Sunday morning, so I had to go in to pull the ad signs off the shelf and run sales reports. I do work 8, or more, hours most days.

Everyone is working hard to get their post quotas. I better get on the ball. I still have 70 or so to go.
On a totally unrelated topic I finally found a Coldplay song I've been looking for. It was playing when Dawn was trying to find RJ right before she saw Buffy with him. Its been driving me nuts, I've listened to about 20 songs by that group and finally found it. I have decided that I love almost every song Coldplay does though.
1 post closer.

Gandalf, The Hobbit, one of my favorite lines.
Gail, thank you - Red-hoot S'cubie Mama it is! Suddenly I feel much more empowered. ;D I'll send the Master a message, right?
Congratulations on your Ascension, too! Yay Gail!!!
Alas, I must leave - it's Paul's turn for the computer, and he's dying to play Alchemy ("They turn the roses into gold..."). Later, all.

What happened? How did I get left behind? And how did they become so bored/disillusioned?
I banged my head against the keyboard when I saw the newest. Magpie, *My* Magpie, writing Spike and Xander slash!
Oh, dear, oh, my! Even Colleen wrote a Dru/Harmony ficlet and posted to my fic list last evening!
And I have *no* desire to join them...
Dear Abbey, There's something wrong with me, isn't there? Slashless in Nashville

Karalee, which song is it? I'm a Coldplay fan also. Its called "Warning Sign". I've been trying to find it since 'Him' aired. I think my favorite by them right now is "Everythings not lost". I don't know how old it is but I love it.

Dear Abbey, There's something wrong with me, isn't there? Slashless in Nashville No, there is nothing wrong with you. Though my feeling is "to each his own" when it comes to sexuality and what consenting adults enjoy, there is nothing wrong with you for having no attraction to this. I have zero attraction to it myself . . . not so much because it doesn't match my own sexuality, but because unless it's Willow, it doesn't match up with the characters as we've seen them characterized on the show. I like my Spike to seem like the Spike I know and love. Same with any of the characters. Any pairings (be it same sex or not) - in fact, any behavior - that seem out of character just don't interest me.

Hate to love you and leave you, but I better go study a little bit more. Then I am going for a nap. I woke up at 3 this morning, couldn't get back to sleep and so I got up at 3.30 to do some homework (well really e-mail my lecturer/tutor begging to let me change the essay topic to what information I've got rather than what I'm supposed to be doing , although I did do some work). I got back to bed at 4.30 freezing cold and couldn't warm up enough to get back to sleep until 6ish. The kids came and told me it was 'up' time at 6.40. By my calculations I had just over 4.5 hours sleep and I'm "knackered" (if that were possible).

I had recommended Red-hot S'cubie Mama; so it's either a mistake or a very entertaining variation....
