I'll jump in to save Patti from talking to herself. I've got a good excuse for having not read all of parts 50 and 51 in my quest to remain unspoiled. If I missed anything personal, let me know. Otherwise, I'll just say "hello" to all of the N'ubies on board ,thanks to Nan's wonderful reviews. I admit to skimming the reviews on slayage.com (peeking through my fingers, I swear) and Nan's are by far the best: thorough, witty, articulate and thoughtful without being didactic. A special "hello" to Sarah, also in the UK. I did the exact same thing when I joined and unless Vlad deleted it, I have an evil twin listed on the membership roster. I'm very tired after a long but wonderful weekend in North Wales so I'm off for now but first: Caraleigh, any news on the house? It occurred to me that you could always invite the pissy bank managers over to help you find any leftover shards of broken glass... Whoops, one more thing: if you follow this URL, you'll see a picture of my daughter (misspelled though her name may be) indulging in her current favorite sport. www.ueharlax.ac.uk/campus/news/Lincoln/pages/Lincoln18_jpg.htmBecky, Halley is DARLING!! She is so cute.....although the pigeons might not think so. She's adorable!

With Rob deciding to log on less and less, Josh's absence (I assume due to school), and Dave taking leave, I'm the only male who regularly signs on (Vlad seems more administrative these days). Can that be right? How ackward do I feel right now. (Feelings of insecurity in manhood rising....) Now, why awkward? You get to be our rep from the "y side of things." Of course, there is the possibility that some of us might turn you into a liberal when you're not looking, but other than that...

You're surrounded by fascinating women like us! It shouldn't be awkward; it should be AWESOME! ;D

From Zap2It: Hannigan Conjures Up NBC Comedy LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - "American Pie" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" co-star Alyson Hannigan is getting ready to cast her next small screen spell. The 29-year-old actress has signed a talent deal with NBC. Currently there are no specific projects set aside for Hannigan, though according to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress is looking to star in a comedy. She's currently meeting with writers and looking at existing scripts. "She has such a natural effervescence," says Marc Hirschfeld, executive casting vice president at NBC. "She brought into 'Buffy' a real sense of humor to the role of Willow, and between that and the 'American Pie' movies, where she's so winning, we really think that this is the right time for her to try a half-hour comedy." Hannigan played Willow Rosenberg for the entire run of Joss Whedon's WB and UPN series. Initially Buffy's nerdy sidekick, Hannigan helped the character evolve from an Internet-surfing wallflower into a powerful (and sometimes evil) witch. Although early on, Willow had a relationship with Seth Green's Oz, her lesbian romance with Amber Benson's Tara evoke especially emphatic response from the show's passionate audience. On the big screen, Hannigan's credits include "My Stepmother is an Alien," "Boys and Girls" and three tours of duty as band geek Michelle in the "American Pie" movies. "We're really enthusiastic about the idea of getting her on NBC and on the air," Hirschfeld ads. "This is one of our top priorities." Here's the link: tv.zap2it.com/tveditorial/tve_main/1,1002,271|84045|1|,00.html Speaking of Buffy characters on TV - did anyone watch Miss Match with CC Friday night? She played an old high school friend of Alicia Silverstone's character and she was classic Cordy - sweet and snarky. Also, at the end, AS's character looks through her old high school yearbook to see who was named Biggest Flirt - the picture they used of CC was a promotional shot they used for Buffy in the first two seasons. I thought that was neat....

She plays the bitca so well. Now really back to work!
