Betsy, if I was remiss enough not to comment on your poem before, I'll do so now. Sweet poet William Mocked by love's painful torment Railroad spikes for all The form is perfect. It has the "turn," contrasting the sweet, calm slightly sad second line with the third's abrupt violence. Its use of sound is good, particularly the two-syllable words ending the first two lines and the one-syllable word ending the third line for contrast. In other words, a thoroughly competent and effective haiku. Happier now? Yippee!! Yes, I am very happy now! That's effusive praise coming from such a good writer as yourself, and I greatly cherish it. So, thank you, thank you, Nan! As a reward, I shall write you a dirty poem that has an ending this time!!

Very sleepy now Eyelids blinking so heavy Kahlua...goodnight. l I've gotta work 10 hours tomorrow, so I guess I'll hit the hay, too. Can't wait until tomorrow's Angel. It's going to be so awesome! Maybe I'll write a poem about it. LOL

Love the haiku/Spiku stuff - haven't tried my hand at that form in a while. Let me sleep on it. 'Night all.

She's okay now, but it freaked me out. This same cat scratched Jordan's eyeball when she was four and we had to take her to the emergency room. The kids learn, quickly, to leave her alone. She is a pretty cranky cat who usually just stays to herself. She was sitting on the back of the couch and I think Piper reached up and grabbed her. I'm glad that Piper is okay. It's hard for some kids to learn NOT to grab at cute kitties. Good for you, keeping the cat after it scratched Jordan's eyeball.
GAIL

I mean the analysis to be all in good nature, assuming you want my honest assessment rather than mere praise. If you want mere praise, you have to warn me in advance. And re 5th grade teacher...so YOU were the one in the back trying to pass notes! Have you figured out where that missing homework went yet? And don't try to tell me the dog ate it or the cat peed on it! or that your grandmother died! ;D

No more reviews until more BIL chapters! In fact, you are no longer allowed to do any work of any kind. Nor eat nor sleep. You may take no more than 4 bathroom breaks every day and you may sleep up to 6 hours in any 24-hour period, but not consecutively. Showering is optional and may be done as often (or not) as you like (see, not so inhumane here). Shanno p.s. My mother says "It's only work if you'd rather be doing something else..." So, Shanno..... this is the "no pressure" approach? ;D

GAIL Yeah, she does alot of jabbering at the cat and she can't resist reaching for her. She is going to get a black eye from it, it popped a vessel there. I had no idea that a person could bleed so much from that spot. I was sure when I saw the blood, that her eyeball was damaged.

So he's powerless? If he saved the world through love May we all be weak.
