FML.
Allergies have me feeling like crap, and I forgot my Ibuprofen and allergy meds at home.
My laptop is messed up again. Black screen. When I first turn it on, the Microsoft logo comes up like normal, then it goes to black screen, though you can still see the mouse icon. So, I'm about to take it in to the computer doc to spend more money on it to fix it again. I've pretty much decided my next computer will be a Mac.
It's raining and cold, and I forgot my jacket, and I'm about to have to go back out into that rainy cold again to take the laptop in.
I keep getting emails about SPN conventions for next year, and I'm afraid all the tickets will be sold by the time I go to buy them, but I don't want to buy them this early because I don't know for sure if I'm going to any certain one yet. But I want to buy my ticket now, but I can't justify spending that much money on a convention that's just under a year away.
I'm just all different kinds of bad-moody, and all I wanted to do was stay under the covers this morning.
Meh.

So I've been a bad Scubie and hardly around much. Just so busy. I'm going to take a half day today to finish a writing project. What with website, fundraising, teaching/directing, etc, etc - I'm just so busy. And this month will only get worse with 3 shows upcoming.
So alive but sadly not as communicative.

And I just realized that all my favorite WIP Dean/Cas fics have either just ended or are about to end. I am most displeased with the events of this day so far.

I am most displeased with the events of this day so far. and now you can go back and reread your favorite fics over again, from the beginning, and savor all the slashy bits nuances and foreshadowing and all that.

If you do, then you can boot from the CD and then do some troubleshooting. Have some pretty smiling Misha for your bad mood:

Is anyS'cubielse still watching Eastwick? I personally am ready to give up, with all due respect to Paul Gross, but The Husband still likes it. Probably because he sleeps through the actual program... Anyway, this week's, when we finally got around to watching it, was, well, much influenced by the "Halloween" episode of BtVS, with PG in the Ethan Rayne spot. Also, is it just me, or was wossname the Gay Divorcee* channelling Jessica Rabbit, what with the slinky red dress and the hair and the writhing all over the piano torch** song bit? Paul Gross or no Paul Gross, I'm very much meh about it. Perhaps I should strongarm Himself - we'll watch Eastwick, if he'll put up with that tape of Cranford I've had sitting around since I first recorded it. I just can't find time to watch TV during the day, and he'd rather watch Fox News if there's nothing else on. Here's a happy thought: Perhaps if this show tanks, PG will get his own show, like NF did with Castle. A woman can dream, can't she? *Gay in the old sense, see: Rogers, Ginger. **Torch in the literal sense. Talk about bringing down the house.

Talk about bringing down the house. While I enthusiastically approve of the idea of it being Jessica-rabbity, I think it was a direct reference to The Fabulous Baker Boys. referenced in the show itself, I believe. But I howled in approval. And she's not nearly gay enough: she keeps getting dragged down by the stbxh that she should just call lightening down on. Honestly, the kids would be happier, she would be happier, the viewers would be happier.

I thought it was meant to be a nod to The Fabulous Baker Boys, myself. I'm still watching, mostly because I would happily sit and listen to PG read the phone book. Not to mention the frequent shirtlessness of Matt Dallas. ETA: I see Matthew beat me to it. ;D

I've considered a Mac for some time now, but always wimp out on account of adjustment issues. Only Monk resists change more than I do. Hope the allergies stuff gets better.
