This is the place to list out the location and even details of any spoilers or speculations from Angel. Please respect the desires of others who wish to remain unspoiled and refrain from lising any spoiler details on the main board, no matter how small. Definition of a spoiler -- that which has not aired yet on AtS. Interviews with cast or crew, TV Guide episode synopses, etc., that discuss in any element anything that has yet to air or can affect that which airs is possible spoiler material and must be limited to this thread. However, previews for the next episode are fair game, not spoilers. Cheers!

No, I'm not going to say what the spoiler is. Just that Slayage.com has a link to Hercules' regular column over on Ain't It Cool News, and it's reported to be the first Angel spoiler for the new season -- possibly explaining how Spike returns. Herc says it's possibly fan-generated, but if it is, it's an EXCELLENT piece of fan fic. Here's the site if you want to peek yourselves. PS, if you are unfamiliar with Herc's column and the concept of inviso-text, what it is is hold your mouse button down and drag across the white blank spot on the page to reveal the text. www.aint-it-cool-news.com/display.cgi?id=15350

Oh man, oh man, oh man..... Just went to the site (screw staying spoiler-free this season!) and read the spoiler. Like Herc said, it could be fan-generated but it seems to be something JW would do. I didn't think JW and the writers had started working again but I could be wrong. If this is true - WOW!!!! What a fascinating concept.... oh man, oh man, oh man! I can't freakin' WAIT until the fall!!!!!! -L

WOW! If it's true, it's even better and more complicated than we imagined. I'm actually looking forward to AtS, not just Spike!
Thanks, Dave!!!!!

Fake 5.1 Script Alert June 1, 2003 A fake script has been floating around the web last week and has foiled Herc over at AICN. According to mulitple sources, there is no script yet for the Angel premiere, which Joss Whedon will write & direct.
The premiere will not start filming until late July, so please keep in mind we won't have script spoilers for another month at least.I saw this over on Spoiled Rotten (man, I really am foregoing that whole "stay spoiler-free next season" policy!) about that spoiler about Spike returning. Hmmm.... Even if the spoiler on Ain't It Cool is fake, it's a GREAT idea and a fabulous starting point for fanfic! I agree with Dave that JW should hire whoever wrote this straight away! -L Here's the link for the news from Spoiled Rotten: www.spoiledrotten.tvheaven.com/angel.html

Darn. I was really hoping that it would turn out to be true. It FELT like a Whedonesque (or Furyesque, that calibre) script; it was smooth and made sense and I loved it when you-know-who asked for a chocolate milkshake.
I hope that the Powers That Be (Whedon & Co.) don't decide to go in a different direction to spite this rumor.
Of course, I read an almost 100% accurate summary of CHOSEN several days before it aired. Can't remember where, though....

Oh man, I'm both relieved and disappointed! Disappointed because this was the coolest thing I could ever imagine that they could do with the character and WOW what a setup for future Spike! Relieved because I meant to be spoiler free, but jumped right to Herc when Dave posted the link....bad me!

Obviously a corporate conspiracy. A woman can dream, can't she?

I managed to remain *spoiler free* for Angel but, boy was it hard! I would really like to know the *fascinating* (Lee's word)* Spike angle. Even if it turns out to be a red herring, I don't want to look, just in case it turn out to be true - or maybe that's the way they'll take the story - in either case, I'm really trying to convince myself not to look at the spoiler. I'm the one who always has to read the ends of books cause I can't stand the suspense. But I'm getting better. Recovering spoileraholic. Don't want to wish my summer away, but geez, September is a long way off! Thanks to all who didn't post any hints on this threads. Must have been hard. Is there going to be threads where the actual spoiler stuff will be posted. Not that I want to look, but it would be nice not to *accidentally* be spoiled.

Not that I want to look, but it would be nice not to *accidentally* be spoiled. Sandy - this is the place to post the actual spoiler. I think we were all just being cautious this time about not posting the actual spoiler. I would bet that in the future, the actual spoilers will be placed here and not just the link to the spoiler. More power to you for resisting the spoilers. I promised myself that I would remain spoiler-free for Angel this next season - and we can all see how long that lasted! The sad part? Only about two days after Buffy ended, I signed back up for SpoilerSlayer, SpoilerZone and have bookmarked Spoiled Rotten. I swear, I have ZERO willpower when it comes to spoilers. [/b]

We're discussing a bit of board reorganization, which may change things around a bit, but wherever you see a thread marked spoilers - and you want to remain spoiler free -- then I suggest you stay off of that thread. Because that's exactly what it will be loaded with.

Lee, I completely agree it *is* hard resisting a peak now and then. I'm going to try to resist - we'll see how long I hold out - I'm hopin the show for me, will be better for it. [/size][/move][/b]

What is WRONG with me? I swear, I have NO self-control when it comes to spoilers.....
Just got an email from Spoiler Slayer that says that the Angel script that is floating around (where Herc got his spoiler) is FAKE. Tensai said it was a spec script that a wannabe ME writer sent to ME.
Part of me was wondering why ME would explain Spike's reappearance so early in the season but another part of me was excited by this possibility.
Again, this all could be a red herring to throw us off the trail but I doubt that.
I cannot wait until the REAL spoilers start coming out! Ohmigod, I have ZERO self-control when it comes to spoilers and chocolate.
What is wrong with me?

Part of me was wondering why ME would explain Spike's reappearance so early in the season but another part of me was excited by this possibility. Since JM is signed as a regular, that means he will be on all 22 eps (I believe) so I think it will be at least addressed in the first episode.

Since JM is signed as a regular, that means he will be on all 22 eps (I believe) so I think it will be at least addressed in the first episode. I think ME would want to delay explaining Spike's reappearance for awhile - stretch out the drama. I'm sure his reappearance would be addressed in the first episode (i.e. we will see Spike somehow in the first episode) but I just don't think ME would give it all away in the first episode (i.e. explain how/why Spike is back). Then again....whenever I try to predict something on this show (that is, when I'm not spoiled silly) I always turn out wrong. That's what is fun about speculation and one of the incentives for staying spoiler-free. But we all have seen how weak I am when it comes to spoilers....
