If the book is not available to purchase, try your local library's interlibrary loan. I bet some library has a copy to lend. For free

I'm so sorry Deborah, I'm really not being very clear today obviously.
Here goes again,
I was watching the old reruns on Space (What here in Canada passes for FX) and saw one of the first season episodes. In it, a young boy in a coma somehow causes everyone's worst nightmares to come true. Buffy's is to become a vampire (and she is buried in a graveyard that is somehow dark at midday in Sunnydale.) Giles's worst nightmare is to lose the ability to read. And yet somehow, when he walks past Buffy's grave he is able to read it. (or know it is her's through osmosis?)
And if it was the bit about Taster's Choice that had you confused, you must have missed the great serial soap-opera like commercial where a stunning man and a woman bond over cups of Taster's Choice, they had people waiting for the next installment to see what would happen. And of course, the man in question was our own Mister Giles.
I hope that clears things up. I have been writing my literature review for my thesis, and as such have lost all ability to write like normal human beings. Engi-speak is a language of its own.

I did Email Miss P' earlier today and am am hoping to hear from her soon via Email or back on the Board. Since I only have computer access at my job I may miss any reply later tonight or over the weekend. But I do intend to try and stop in for new posts and Email messages at least on Sun.
Let's hope we can woo her back again soon.

Yup, I checked that out this afternoon, and the Ottawa Public Library system doesn't have it. I will keep on it however, there is a provincial interlibrary loan thing happening here now.
Thanks for the excellent suggestion.

I am receiving such nice words from all and wonderful help. I am truly glad everyone seems interested.
Julie, I, too, want to avoid limiting the number of public posts to ScoopMe. The website is only to be a supplement to the posting board. As of this time I am not trying to implement any type of posting board or message center there. However there is an email accessible by me. The address is:
scubiefan@yahoo.com
Please send any typed contributions for the web site you have to that email address and I will see about getting them placed on the page.
Now, as far as typo's, grammar and misc. mistakes. *laughing* I love you guys! It's nice to know I have such an excellent editorial staff at hand. I appreciate all your responses and will forthwith fix everything.
I would like to make a request, however. As I know I am going to be guilty of making a tremendous amount of spelling and grammatical errors (especially as I hustle to get this thing up and flying), please send your fixes to the email address if possible so as to avoid filling the posting board with a huge English lesson. *L* I truly am glad I have you helping me on this tho', so please don't stop or hesitate to write. This is going to take all of us to get it done correctly.

I just checked out the web site. It looks wonderful. This will be great for keeping an archive of all our more permanent creations and discoveries. I agree that posts should remain on the Scoopme Misc. board, but having a place for our 'records' will be just what we need.
The concept is fine with me and it sounds like most everyone else is in favor also. (I wonder where Miss Pamela is...)
One caveat: I have a hard time reading the blue print on red. Can you experiment with another color?
Thank you, Vlad. Terrific job.

Craig Claiborne held up GOTR's CD during JM's appearance on his show, but when did it come out and where is it available? Any reviews on other sites? Being a singer isn't really his best thing I'm afraid so I'm a little trepidacious. But, if it isn't very good we won't tell him, cz we want him to be happy.
I also propose he (or Spike) be given the Honorary Chair of Vampire Laureate at the VNISN.

Is anyone on the Board now who can quickly tell me which episode featured the body exchange between Buffy and Faith where Faith in the guise of Buffy *teases* Spike in the Bronze?

Never mind, I got it. It's "This Years Girl" from Season 4 and hopefully Fox will be showing it on the Sat rerun a week from tomorrow.
'Night everyone.

Is there any way to get the commercials? I feel like I have a vague memory of an on going coffee commericial featuring a couple but I have no picture in my head of it being Giles, and I think it would be fun to see them again.

Nan, I checked out the posts you are referring to - Miss Pamela's last post was only two days ago, so I think your mea culpas may be premature.
She has been an enthusiastic contributor and the exchange seemed pretty gentle to me.
I would surely miss her if she has permanently departed the board

I am sure that Miss Pam didn't leave us. I agree that the conversation was mild and many people, including I, made a definite effort to respond to her and encourage her. I, too, would hate to see Miss Pam go, especially since I am frequently a late night poster and she is often there to have fun with. She often had some unique insights into the series and seemed to enjoy discussion.
So, if you are out there Miss Pam, know hat we miss you! Come back soon!

Okay folks, go take a peek. The rough layout is done. See how you like it and please send me your comments and suggestions www.geocities.com/scubiefan/you may now bookmark the website, btw. The page shouldn't be changing actual location now. I think its well anchored.
