Leaving out Spike and Buffy, if you could go on a date with any actor/actress/character who ever appeared in any season on the show, who would you pick and why?

Sorry, no edit button. I wanted to make clear that James Marsters and Sarah Michelle Gellar as well as Spike and Buffy cannot be chosen. Anyone else is okay.

If by leaving out Spike that leaves out James Marsters, then I'd go out with ANGEL in a non-heartbeat! He's not Spike, but he's the next best thing, handsome in his own dark, chocolatey-brown way, plus just gotta love those vampiric powers and stamina. ;-)

Cool Xander (as opposed to Nerd Xander) would be a treat as a date. And that was still in his Speedo-worthy days.
Like Roger Rabbit, he would always make you laugh.
Thanks for moving the S3 topic, Alexandra. I was beginning to be concerned.

Well, I'll play this time instead of just lurking.. reading..
Angel would normally be my first choice .. but that whole true happiness thing would get in the way of my – you know !! So Giles would be my choice. 1. English accent.. 2. Fatherly type 3. Got the bad boy thing going too- Ripper remember Anya and Joyce succumbed to his charms 4. Has the mid-life crisis vehicle shaped like a ? 5. Like his choice of music – and he does sing and play the guitar 6. Remind you of anyone else we can’t select??

I'd date Mayor Wilkins (pre-graduation day.) Evil down to his shoelaces, he was still cute, funny and treated those he cared about very, very well. And he made me laugh. (We ARE talking about a single date--not a relationship, right?)

Giles. He's the only one who is in the right age group for me and he and Wesley are the only ones intelligent enough. ;-)

Giles, for every reason Pam H already mentioned.
I just saw "Where the Wild Things Are" for the first time yesterday and was enchanted by the image of Giles accompanying himself on the guitar. I knew he was a good singer but didn't realize he played as well. Yeah, I could go for Giles.

Giles, Wesley or Willow. They'd be the most interesting to talk to, and just full of arcane trivia. Idea! A game of Trivial Pursuit based totally on Buffy!
I also liked that blue demon who owed Giles a favor.

I'm glad you like your present. I thought it would go well with all the time spent on the computer pursuing your BtVS/Spike/S'cubie interests. But please tell me the meaning of "Domo arigato gozaimasu!"
Uh, btw, I'm surprised you got the package after the card I must have mailed to the same address was returned by the post office. Surprised but much relieved.
For all my fellow S'Cubies I want you to know that Alexandra is the best! Some of you may remember my sad lament after "Potential" about how I blew my recording of the show by missing the opening graveyard scene featuring Buffy straddling Spike with her hand up his shirt checking for injuries. Alexandra came through not just with a tape of the entire episode, but from her original suggestion that she might as well fill up the rest of the tape with other Buffy episodes I wanted grew into 2 and 1/4 tapes chock full of heretofore unseen by Deborah (or only seen once a long time ago) Spikecentric Buffy episoes. To top it all off she also included for me the JM Andromeda episode as well (which I still haven't watched yet).
So Alexandra, here is my big, public THANK YOU for all the kindness and consideration you have shown a fellow S'Cubie in need.
I say again, you are the best!

well, I thought and thought. If you'd asked me from season 1-4, I'd have said Willow. She always seemed so real. I actually knew girls like Willow in school and I think in the long run they make the best life partner choices.
However...I lost interest once she turned gay...*sigh* I don't have a problem with gay people, but for me losing Willow... well just imagine that either JM or Xander came out of the closet and started dating Andrew. All of you poor women would jsut be so...let down. And I was never fond of Tara in the beginning. In fact, it wasnt til after they broke up, that I began to see things about her that I really liked. She truly did have the kindest soul.
So, losing Willow, I would have to say next on my list would have been Jenny. Jenny is what I thought Willow was going to become, more or less early on in the series. And she was very attractive. I liked her playfulness and the way she enjoyed ribbing Giles. Unfortunately, she's dead.
After Jenny it would have to be...*drum roll* Kennedy! Okay, okay... pipe down and listen to me on this. I really don't understand everyone's dislike for this gal. She's got some spunk..good taste in life partners, a sense of humor and is very attractive. OKay.. she's young and impetuous, occasionally makes a social gaffe and can seem a bit...preoccupied with herself....Hmmmmmm, come to think of it, sounds similar to a certain blonde headed slayer that we've been watching for the last 7 years. Really, I like Kennedy, she's just young and out of her place. She's latched onto Willow for both right and wrong reasons. However, I think that as she matures, she would be quite the partner for Willow. She likes Willow for Willow...not for power, or magic, or anything else. Even Tara started off in the magic envy area.
*Blows a raspberry to all the S'cubies* So there! I like Kennedy. And since it looks like a breakup may be on the horizon, maybe the young impressionable Kennedy might decide that this whole lesbian thing was jsut a phase and take the keys off her belt loop. *wink* I know a single TechnoPagan that wouldn't mind grabbing a cup o' joe and talking...heck, I'd even rent Moulin Rouge for her.

Hmmm...so many options...
I guess I'd have go with Dawn. Dawn is cute, resourceful, loves Monty Python, and whether she chooses to deal with them in a good way or not, she deals with her issues.
My second choice (minus the whole gay thing) Willow, is far too non-self-analytical. She lets things inside of her build up and boil over. That's not something I want in a date. She is also way too much of a push over, except when she's evil. I like my women with a certain amount of steely reserve and calm confidence. I think Dawn has a healthy dose of both. I like Tara alot too though (once again assuming her being gay wasn't an issue, but heck, I'd let her turn me into a girl).
I guess all I am sure of, is that I would not under any circumstances be able to handle dating Buffy or Anya. They are the Paul Reisers of the female world. Just too much.
