I have no idea how that happened. I didn't even get my fingers stuck in the key like ususal.
Anyway, what I'd like is:
1. Spike on Ripper with Giles, but somehow still hooked into Sunnydale. Maybe back and forth for guest appearances on spooky Giles type business. He could even guest when Buffy drops thru. For some reason they would be having a long distance, but still connected relationship. Much longing, missing and fiery reunions.
2. Forget the whole high school theme. A more adult evil fighting group like Mutant X, only of course way better writing, direction, plot etc.
3. Make Willow the main character with Dawn as her apprentice. Faith can be there, but not run the show. More witchy, less kung fuey. The witchy stuff also provides a link to Ripper.
4. A Xander and Faith hook-up is a really valid plot line for a new show. I could go for that.

Rusty-
I too have these weird feelings that Kennedy is BAD. It is hard to tell if the vibes are deliberate or just that I cannot stand her and so seek for reasons that she will be eliminated, quickly.
It is funny how certain actors can jsut irritate o person. I cannot stand that Dell guy at all but I have a sneaking liking for Carrot Top (the telephone guy). Just a matter of taste I guess.
Faith- I find intriguing- she was kind of heartbreaking in the episodes where she switched bodies with Buffy and i kind of forgave hr for irritating me in previous episodes. (I do not forsee any such epiphany for our girl Kennedy)

Xander's actually lost weight since Season 6. That's why they had all that rampant snack food stuff going on around the wedding. If you have Season 6 tape check it out.

She is so cocky and full of herself, has no idea how limited she is, maybe we'll get lucky and she'll smart-ass herself into getting dead.

Since alot of us are stealing time to post and need to read other posts really fast, I would like to request that long postings be broken into paragraphs. It's easier to follow the writer's thought, and if you have to stop in the middle of a post to answer a minion's question, or berate a child (or visa versa), you won't lose your place and have to start over.
You won't get any flack from me if it violates the rules of grammar. As you can see from my writing style; grammer, phooey. Every three inches is my rule of thumb.

Hey Rusty-
Not being snarky here- I totally agree with you- can you look at mine and tell me if they are hard to decipher for the reason you mentioned?

Thanks for mentioning this Rusty. I too find it hard to read a message when it's not broken into handy paragraphs. This is frustrating for me, because I find myself skimming and missing people's points. I hate that.
Hmmm . . . I find it really hard to speculate on who will or won't be in a new cast. Robert, I do NOT think Xander is necessarily doomed. Andrew would not be a proper replacement at all. They could easily co-exist.
The only thing clear to me from the foreshadowing so far is that the Season 7 ending will have something to do with Buffy making a choice.
"Joyce" tells Dawn that Buffy "won't choose" her. The last two episodes have shown us Buffy choosing, and making the RIGHT choice rather than the SAFE choice. She's going to have to make a terrible, painful choice, she may have some self-doubts and it may be controversial, but she'll get it right.
I don't see Kennedy continuing in the series. She seems to be getting set up as some kind of object lesson. I don't hate her, by any means. She's just young and foolish and full of herself. She'll learn and she'll change - or she'll die. There won't be any room for any other option, given the dire straits our heros are in.

Ellie, Your paragraphing is fine, easy to read on this post.
I have just the opposite like and dislike for the Dell guy (like), Carrot Top (starting to really annoy me). Personal taste, I guess.

Actually Xander is a much brighter light bulb than he gives himself credit for. Willow Rosenberg is not going to be best friends for almost 20 years with someone stupid. He had a completely unsupportive home life that presented him with no sense of self worth other than what Willow instilled in him. He had further feelings of inadequacy when he decided he wasn't of any real value to Buffy after she came to Sunnydale, and the Scooby Gang didn't really have time to deal with his insecurities since they all had loads of their own. There are different kinds of intelligence, and Buffy, Willow and Xander complement each other perfectly when they're all on the same page (see Combo Buffy as a reference point). Unfortunately that's pretty rare these days with all these new characters mucking up the works.

I don't think I said Willow and Xander were joined at the hip, exactly; I DO believe that it's hard for me to imagine one without the other. In recent years, they've drifted a bit because of romantic entanglements, but in the end it comes down to Buffy, Xander and Willow. That's where the show began, and that's where it should end. If Buffy has to go, Xander is the only person left for Willow to lean on, much like he was her last hope when she went bad. That being said, I agree with you about Xander's future. I think the writers are going to make a mistake and remove Xander from the picture for reasons of their own. As I said, it looks like they're out of ideas for him. This is stupid to me, but there it is.

I haven't a clue what to call the show. I'll say this much: BTVS and Angel have always been sort of a closet ensemble show with a lead character. As years have gone by Buffy has maintained her level of attention while the others have had less because of all the new characters they've thrown in. Xander was an enormously important character in Seasons 1-3. He had a little less to do in Seasons 4-5 and virtually nothing to do in 6 until the wedding episode. The last 6 episodes of last season are a lot more comparable to the best BTVS episodes of the past. Why? Because Xander wasn't chained to Anya every moment and had a chance to interact with Buffy and Willow again. He changes the dynamic between them. The electricity in the scene in Seeing Red between Xander and Buffy after he finds out about her and Spike is riveting. Whether you agree with Xander or not, he let Buffy have it when her other friends were afraid to, and Nick and Sarah are extraordinarily good without once raising their voices. Their all too brief makeup scene right before Tara's death is also a classic moment that was lost by what followed. Look at the show's history: Xander was almost always acting goofy. Whenever the writers wanted to raise the intensity level they made Xander serious. I challenge you to find a moment in the show that wasn't riveting when Xander was acting in contrast to his normal self. Becoming Part 1 is a great example. Xander got in the entire groups face--even Giles in an amazing moment--and said some very serious and ugly things. People sit up and take notice when Xander goes off because it's not something he would do under normal circumstances. Sometimes fans hated him for it, because his feelings for Angel were complicated at best, but it's still a quality they don't utilize often enough these days.

I hesitate to mention Nick Brendon's weight, but the possibility exists that it's a factor in his fading into the background and out of the Jossverse. I don't like it, but welcome to Hollywood.

I'll try. I know I'm the worst offender when it comes to run on paragraphs, so I'll do my best to avoid that if I can. Now for an embarrassing moment: I've tried to break things into paragraphs before and I can't get my Tab key to move within the message area. Help? Does this work? God, I'm a technological moron.
