Here will be the place to post all your thoughts about tonight's thrilling episode of LOST, which at least I fervently hope won't be a forty minutes of repeats of stuff that's gone on in the previous episode seen from a different perspective. Or hell, why not, they made it work last week..

Or hell, why not, they made it work last week.. ;D Well, more like 5 minutes of repeat . . . So. Locke didn't lose the use of his legs from an accident leaving his dad's house after the kidney thing. Instead he meets and woos Peggy Bundy at anger management group therapy? Why doesn't Kate steal a box of ammo? And why does the shot up computer mean they are all gonna die? Does the transmission keep the Others from attacking? The Others? Eeeeeep! Also, Locke has intimacy issues and is stalking his daddy.

Locke's dad is a stone cold bastard. Completely. "You needed a father figure, I needed a kidney. Get over it. You're not wanted." Holy hell! There's an orientation film?! ?! And what the hell happened to Calvin?

I think Locke speaks for all of us when he says "we're gonna need to watch that again". 'Cuz, whoa! Guess we were whining too much about not getting enough info. We got tons of info now, but what the hell does it all mean? Dharma project? Unique electromagnetic fluctuations and then "and incident"? The DeGroots?! And the film doesn't say "the world will end" it says the future of the project is in your hands. Were we right or were we right! It's an experiment! They mentioned Skinner and had polar bears! Too. Much. Data! Eeeeeep! On the up side, we got a great Hurley moment. "Returning to normalness" Kate runs out of the jungle. "Oh crap." #rofl1# And why does it make sense to have Sawyer try to escape? Considering he's the one with the pre-existing shoulder wound. My vote for dorkiest line of the ep? "It's a girl." ;D

And what the hell happened to Calvin? Jeez, I didn't even make the connection--Calvin is yet another deep thinker. He was a big believer in predestination.

Awww. A key to her place. And she seems to break through his obsession. Loved how she kinda said "all right?" with a little question - like she can't believe he listened to her. I wonder what goes wrong? Woman from the back of the plane was alone? Has been alone all this time? I wonder . . . I hope Sawyer's gun still works. And how many bullets are left? Desmond: "I don't get out much." #rofl1# "Ever wonder if maybe they put you down here just to see if you'd keep pushing the button." "Every day." And then, just like that, Desmond takes off? I guess, between the no replacements thing and then the news of the plane crash survivors and then the whole computer stuff going boom, it was too much for him. But he took the mysterious number drugs. Jack and Locke are both completely losing it. "Is the reason you're so upset because he recognised you?" (Good question.) "It's not real. None of this is real." (I think he may very well be right.) "This wasn't supposed to happen." What was supposed to happen?" (Very interesting exchange.)

And what the hell happened to Calvin? Jeez, I didn't even make the connection--Calvin is yet another deep thinker. He was a big believer in predestination. I think we need to google DeGroot too. So, Locke can't fight the obsession with daddy. She says because he's afraid to move on with the relationship with her, but I think he simply can't move on because that would solidify that his dad doesn't give a rats ass about him. As long as he's stalker guy he has a chance at annoying daddy enough that he'll still at least notice him. And oooooh, damn, I was right to be suspicious!! She's one of them! So, either she met and joined up with the Others much earlier than she was claiming. Or else the Others are the survivors from the tail of the plane. Or else all the other plane survivors joined the Others already on the island. Maybe it's only one side of the island - the one they landed on - that makes you "sick"? If "sick" means psycho.

OK, did anyone else find that last scene between Jack and Locke really really really annoying? I wanted Sayid or someone to just say fuck it and push the stupid button. Or not push it. Or break the stupid computer. I mean, can you say "obvious metaphor" much? Not to mention just plain annoying "tension" moment. Maybe Hurley will tell them the whole story and they'll listen this time. And then . . . previews of next week! Jin!!!! Holy moley!!

Yes, to second Lola, what is going on with Jin next week? I can't remember what he said in the preview, but it was definitely in clear English - has he been scamming Everybody, including Sun? Is he an agent of the Others? Sheesh.
And I too got so sick of Jack and Locke's set-to about the darned button. I was yelling Just push the stupid button already!
Y'know, if they just rotate 10 or so people in and out of the bunker, no one needs to lose any sleep pushing the button every 108 minutes. I'm sure there are plenty of folks who'd like electricity and showers and candy bars and music...
I think that Jack's wife's paralysis came back and ruined the marriage....
And I think the bunker/button deal is a big, wacko behavioral and biological experiment (complete with polar bears and special children)...
GAIL

Teaser Well, that fight was over quickly...
kind of them to use a net to do their hauling.
What is this, a parental issues support group?
$30 versus a kidney is a bit of a weighty equation.
What the hell kind of support group IS that?
She's a heck of a counselor there.. Dennis Leary therapy, that. and yes, she IS hitting on him..
Helen.. this can NOT be the same Helen, can it be?
Kate is a resourceful woman....
Dessie is going a little apeshit isn't he? Why so?
