Not only is she a plant, but Jack KNOWS it. He is playing her. I'm sure of it. I like that thought. And Jack's 'tell' is that big grin of his - I'm sure of it. And he grinned at Juliet in the montage. By George, I think you've got it! Yes, I also noticed the grin, and I thought of it as a sure, telltale sign that he is faking her out all the way. Jack's words and actions really don't make sense to me any other way.

Ethan's hidden supply of goodies. Sayid and Sawyer step in. Juliette takes the usual Other tactic of aggressively coming back at them with all they've done (blood on their hands) instead of just, you know, actually talking to them. The things she says are true, but not the whole story. And not really relevant. I mean, saying they are the "moral compass" of the folks at camp? Um, no. And what does that have to do with anything anyway? You told Jack and Kate what was up, you couldn't say "we need to get these drugs back, I'll tell you everything as we head through the jungle".
Interesting to see how tense she was as she walked away. She wasn't sure that would work. And she got to Sawyer, but I'm not so sure Sayid wasn't just gathering data about her like she was on him.
Ooooh, book club! Petula! Plane go boom!
It just dawned on me that her snuggle bunny guy on the island was the guy who was planted among the tailies and thus helped kidnap and kill them.
Benry takes Juliette to see Mikhail. Ah! That's how they do the "all knowing" act. Just watch the news, get the flight manifest, get background info on all of them. Not magical, just technology and amazingly good research skills.
They show her her sister and kid, today's date (which could be manufactured, really, anyone can mock up a front page of a paper). Although, harder to make the sister look actually older. And really, it would fit my idea that the sister never had her cancer come back. Once again I say, easy to cure a cancer that doesn't exist.
"I'm not a liar, Juliette." Hmmmmm. But you are a manipulator. Just ask your daughter.
Jack let's he know that if Claire doesn't get better, he can't protect her. Well, it was quite the leap of faith to let her put drugs into Claire.

Okay. I'm just gonna say it so it's out there and on the record, so to speak, but I know there's little point in trying to convince the rest of y'all: I still think Juliet might turn out okay. I know, I know. Call me naive, call me a trusting idiot, whatever. But there are lots of ways this storyline could go: she could have agreed to go along with Ben's plan in order to get away from him and the Others, she could be playing along with the intent to double-cross him later on... there's lots of plausible scenarios that could easily end with her on the Losties' side. I also realize it's not very likely, that if she were planning on betraying Ben she'd have told Jack about their plan, that she could have a grudge against the Losties over what happened to Goodwin, etc. I know all the logical reasons I should just give up and face the reality: Juliet's a liar, is playing our gang like a virtuoso, and will eventually betray all of them—most likely breaking Jack's heart in the process. But I'm gonna continue believing she'll end up a good guy anyway. I am completely on your side here Sara! I think she turn out to be a good guy as well. So you are not alone!

Awwwww! Charlie and Claire. Sittin' in a tree hut.
Since Claire's OK, the group is willing to let her stay, for now. And I want to know the same thing. Why don't you need answers, Jack?
Because she wants off the island, that makes her "one of us too". Well. Maybe. I'm still sceptical as hell.
Ha!!!!!!!!! She is working for Benry!!! The whole "left behind" story was fake! She's spying and/or supposed to grab something or someone or get info. Oh, icky. They put an implant in Claire to make her get sick, just so they could have a crisis as a way into the group?
See you in a week. So, what is she supposed to accomplish in a week?
And I still think she's got her own agenda. 'Cuz Jack is right that she wants off that island with a burning firey passion. business. But she wants to cut Benry's heart out first.

The thing about Juliet's character is that she is so likeable and sincere in her flashbacks. She is truly concerned about her sister. She is also very beautiful.
I think she has a true scientist's curiosity and it was the reason she was intrigued and took the weirdo job (hi Gail!) and sucked down the Kool-Aid juice with the tranquilizer in it so quickly.
I also think that Ben is manipulating her and has been from the beginning, especially where it concerns 'helping' the women to carry to term and blaming the island for it not happening.
I think that they are experimenting on the babies in the womb and had been using Juliet to help bring them to term, but it hasn't been working.
I think Juliet is playing both ends against the middle, and is going to suffer for it, unless she turns coat and joins with the Losties. Right now, I don't see any reason why she would do that. She doesn't give off any vibes (IMO) of being attracted to Jack, and he doesn't seem attracted to her either. I could be missing something there, tho.
She knows too much about what is going on on the island, and there is no way The Others would let her stay with our Losties if they thought she was going to turn on them.
Are the cameras on the island still working? If they are, then they are watching her every move. If she is thinking of turning to the good side, she'll have to be very careful about how she does it.

Clearing of the Darned in the distance? Happy little family hiking back to the beach. And now we have a reckoning coming up.. Woohoo! "Didn't ask any questions" which, if I can say, must have been driving him truly buggy.. Give Juliet the Burning Stare, Sayid!!! My woobie Sayid will dig out her secrets yet! Even after the Claire thing, he ain't gonna trust her farther than he can throw her. **joins you in the instinctive eeeeekness of Ethan** Sayid will . . . chart his own course, I'll bet. Unless Jack is playing a deep game of his own. In which case, he'd better let Sayid in on it.

Whoa. She just came right out and told Jack she handcuffed Kate to her and lied about it. And Jack didn't bat an eyelash. I'm keeping my eye on Jack. And not just 'cuz of the eye candy thing. Although that helps.

The plans could be to eventually "transform" her . . . I could see it going either way, from what we know about her. All of the "bad" characters are pretty much "gray," and redeemable, even Ben. And all of the "good" characters are also "gray" and have potential of "going bad," as well. Juliette may just be a short term character who gets written off one way or the other. If she's going to stay long term, they'd almost have to be planning to "redeem" her, at some point. I have no real feel for whether she's a long-termer, though.

probably one of the most tender Sawyer moments I have seen on the show. You know, it really was, wasn't it? I mean, I joke, yes, but that felt very real. The whole scene when Jack came into view and how folks reacted, especially Sawyer.

Definitely, I don't think he sees Jack as "the boss of him," and he's more than capable of doing what he thinks is best, if he becomes convinced that it must be done - regardless of what Jack says.

"Burried him over there" So Hurley was dispatched, or did he go over there to sit with her of his own accord? Even though he agreed with her saying they sent him there to watch her, I think it was his idea. You remembered that bit/identified that irony faster than me, good on ya!
