Onjel and Karen can verify that I thought these were flash forwards from the very beginning of the show. And Sara!

Onjel and Karen can verify that I thought these were flash forwards from the very beginning of the show. She did! I think it was Jack's beard. We figure that Sawyer is in the coffin and that Kate is now with Nathan (Fillion). What a frickin' flip. I still can't believe it. Not bad, but I'm thinking Juliette in the coffin, Kate with Sawyer ("why would I go to the funeral? sorta fits more with Juliette to me, than Sawyer . . . though we know so little about what may have transpired.)

Right now? I'm going with a "game reset" thingee. Or else? Lots and lots of pills and liquor have just messed Jack's mind up so bad that he refers to his dead dad as alive.
Or, you know. Space aliens! Yeah, but neither the doctor who confronted him nor the pharmacist batted an eye when Jack spoke of his father in the present tense. You'd think one of the two would have said "Uh, Jack? Your dad's been dead for years. Now, let's go get you fitted for this nice new jacket... Yes, that's right: it buckles in the back..." Not necessarily - when you're talking to someone who is obviously upset and off his rocker, you don't necessarily confront them when they say something plainly delusional. I think it could go either way, here. I'm kinda hoping for the less complicated "he's still dead," but definitely, we could be talking "altered reality" sort of thing.

I know it means nothing , at least I think it means nothing, but did anyone else notice Sarah was pregnant? Yes, I noticed. I thought it was another clue about the "flashforwardy" nature of what we were seeing.

I stopped my DVR on the paper that Jack was looking at right before he walked in the funeral home. from what Icould read it looked to say The body of Jo.... from Grand.... Was found .... that was really all I could get , so I am going with John was in the casket as well. but who the hell really knows. my problem with that is I don't see John leaving the Island. So he had to be forced to go. Really? Started with a J? The way Jack reacted - I'm sticking with Juliette.

Again, does anyone know the purpose behind the Others' actions for the past 3 years? If I were Bernard, I would have squealed too. You mean, does anyone here know? The answer there would be "of course not." We're just viewers of the show like anyone else, and don't know things that haven't been revealed.

John telling Jack "Your not supposed to do this." leads me to believe he has been shown a glimpse of this possible outcome by Walt or Jacob. I really need to quit analyzing this frakking show. Thar ya go! Now that we've been spending more time with the core Losties, I'm liking the show a lot better, because I like to watch the characters and their interactions, and don't give a hoot about the mysteries or their outcomes. For me, its much more fun that way.

As far as in-show? NO clue. I think they are trying to serve the Island as a spiritual entity, surrendering to its will.

What the hell is this damn show about? I can understand the producers/writers keeping it a mystery during the first two seasons or so. But with the strong focus upon the Others this season, they should have revealed some of the mysteries by now. What the hell is it about? What is the objective of Ben and the Others? Why isn't Kate behind bars in the future? No one here can answer these questions. There is only the decision to keep watching and hoping to get answers from the show itself, or stop watching and give up on getting answers. We don't have these answers, here.

I know. It's, like, he knows he's gonna die and then, hey - maybe not - but, oops, yes. Yes you do die. Well I've been calling for the hobbit death for awhile but that? Was all kinds of awesome. The last two eps have completely redeemed Charlie to me and I applaud the producers for not being wieinie about this. He had to die. And he did die. Magnificently. RIP Charlie. I must agree that if he really is gone, it was a great way to go. Really well done.

I'm guessing it's Sawyer. I can't think of anyone else Jack would think Kate would be interested in knowing about. People are saying the coffin is too small for Sawyer. It's Juliette, people! Juliette!! Fits with Jack's upset reaction, and Kate's "why would I go reaction," and . . . Juliette. My money is on Julie.

Let the bitching and moaning begin. February, right? February? I will forget everything by February. I know, I know, they'll probably do refresher things, but I haven't got the patience to watch those.

I'm surprised that so many people think that Jack's dad is alive in the flashforward.Since I had been spoiled for the flashforward, I felt that part of Jack talking about his dad was a bit of trick for the audience so people wouldn't catch on, even if they saw clues like the phone. In the pharmacy, he was all "this is a prescription from my father" but then he was evasive when the pharmacist was talking about contacting him, "oh, no, actually my fathers dead out of town." I figured that Jack had some how gotten a hold of a prescription pad of his dad's before they cleared all this things away. The pharmacist didn't seem to know him, so she wouldn't know his dad was actually dead. The guy that did know him was all, "give him what ever he wants." The second time when he was ranting about his dad to the doctor, he was really, really, really drunk/high. Everyone in the hallway was looking at him weird and the doctor was trying to talk to him privately, presumably to say "dude, you know your dad's dead, right?" And if dad was still around, why wasn't he there in the flesh? He's always been around before whenever Jack was self-destructing. Also, Jack must have done something really great to get all that fame. I'm thinking it has something to do with revealing the location of the island. Something special that benefits the whole world or something. Right there with you, scooter.

I noticed Liz asked about Sarah's pregnancy so I'll just repeat: the actress was very pregnant at the time. She's a regular on Boston Legal. Apparently went into labor on the set. Sure - but they could have, and do, cover up pregnancies on TV shows all the time. I think the pregnancy fit nicely with the story - gives a flashforward clue, provides another confirmation for Jack that his ex has truly moved on, another knife in the heart, etc. It fit, so they used it.

Scoop from producer Damon Lindelof on the five things you WON'T see in tonight's episode, courtesy of EW.com: 5. Rose quietly snuffing the life out of Bernard by holding his nostrils closed while looking distractedly at Aaron's car seat. 4. Hurley feeling a great disturbance in the Force (''as if many voices cried out and were suddenly silent'') because his cousin back in Valencia, Calif., was blown up in a nuclear explosion and no one seemed to give a crud. 3. Kate and Juliet doing each other's hair and nicknaming Jack ''McIntensey'' and Sawyer ''McMurderedTheManWhoConnedHisParentsy.'' 2. A character travelling back in time to warn all the other characters to do something, but by doing that something, they prevent a future that might have happened but never did had the character not travelled back in time, thus negating the entire reason behind everything. 1. Sanjaya. I am not getting #1. He was the terrible singer with the versatile hair on this year's edition of "American Idol"
