Dude! I am so right there with you! 'Cuz he's a miracle kid! Wacky mental powers and speedy growth a specialty. That kid has definitely grown a lot. He is hitting rapid awkward transition time in his growth here - how nice for him to do it in front of millions. ;D

I just remembered a thought -
I think Bernard only broke so quickly because Jin was the one at risk. If it'd been Sayid or Bernard himself, he might have held out longer, but Jin's going to be a daddy.
That's my guess on Bernard's thinking, anyway.

People are saying the coffin is too small for Sawyer. It's Juliette, people! Juliette!! Fits with Jack's upset reaction, and Kate's "why would I go reaction," and . . . Juliette. My money is on Julie. She would fit in the box, surely, but she has family - a sister. I'm sure more people than 5 would be at her funeral.

Heh. I'm sure he does.... The island is like a microcosm of real life. Why are we here? is one of the great mysteries of real life. Yeah, it's like a novel, that way. Eh. I'm enjoying the mini storyarcs. Except for killing Charlie. Hmm.....so when Desmond went back and changed the future (hypothetically), and thus, saved Charlie, does that mean in Jack's EmoFuture (which I'm assuming is the future that happened after they were on the island, but had returned), Charlie never existed? Excellent question. Which I was only able to post after rolling on the floor for a bit, laughing about "Jack's EmoFuture". And instead of EmoBangs, he had EmoBeard! LOL! It was an awful beard. Worse than the beard that The Other - what's his face - used as a disguise early on in the series.

I mean - she left for the island without much of a second thought. She didn't seem to have anyone but her sister. Plus - I just get this idea that we're to believe that some of the Losties hit the serious skids once they got back to civilization. My other thought was Locke, because he really had no one. But why would Locke have gone back at all? Sawyer has a daughter, but of course, she and her mom were completely estranged from him. So it could be Sawyer, except I think Kate would go to that funeral, and she'd understand why Jack thought she might. Also, I think Sawyer is who Kate is referring to when she says, "He's going to wonder where I am." Also, Jack seemed really torn up by the death. I just can't picture him getting that torn up by Sawyer's death (even though I'm sure Lola can).

According to lostpedia, the obituary said: Los Angeles Man found dead in downtown loft "The body of Jo...''[unreadable]''...ntham of New York was discovered shortly after 4 a.m. in the...''[unreadable]''...of Grand Avenue. Ted...''[unreadable]''...man at The Tower...''[unreadable]''...heard loud noises...''[unreadable]''...antham's loft. ''[unreadable]''... Some theorists are saying that since the service was in a black neighborhood that it was Michael that was found, and the teenage son (that the other clipping view indicated) was Walt.

It really makes no sense at all to me now. I remember the undertaker guy was black, but that is pretty flimsy for deciding it was Michael. And wouldn't Walt go to Michael's funeral? And . . . of course Michael's name is Michael Dawson, not Joxxx XXXXantham. I'm just . . . clueless.

And I don't get why Michael would've changed his name either, unless 'Michael' wasn't his real name. Eh. Who knows? Maybe the shadow. Here's a Youtube link to a clip of Jack driving to Nirvana's "Scentless Apprentice". I've never heard the song before. Here are the lyrics: Like most babies smell like butter His smell smelled like no other He was born scentless and senseless He was born a scentless apprentice Go away - get away, get a-way Every wet nurse refused to feed him Electrolytes smell like semen I promise not to sell your perfumed secrets There are countless formulas for pressing flowers Go away - get away, get a-way I lie in the soll and fertilize mushrooms Leaking out gas fumes are made into perfume You can't fire me because I quit! Throw me in the fire and I won't throw a fit Go away - get away, get away, get away, get away, get away, get a-way

Also, when the funeral director asked if Jack was friend or family, Jack said "either". Weird, huh?

I thought an observation from this post was neat. I loved that Desmond had to dive in, helped Charlie and how they kept giving hints at Ulyss' Myth when Mickail showed up and Charlie called him a Cyclop while Desmond/Odysseus was hiding in the cave station. And of course Penny introduced herself as Penelope in case it wasn't enough...

Ben said that "every single *living* person on this island" would die if Jack called for help. Not "every single person."
For whatever it's worth. Of course, Ben's a lying bastard, so it could mean nothing.
