LOL! So THAT's what I can do with that unopened package of Wheetabix in my fridge! I haven't had the nerve to actually open it yet.

Patti said, "we all can chat now...'bout Spikey's parts!" Yes, let's do!
I want to discuss his hands. Yes, I know he has other parts and we'll likely get to those soon enough, knowing this crowd. I've watched his hands for a long time in various scenes. They are maybe the least elegant thing about him. They look like a workman's hands rather than aristocratic. The rest of his features and body (down, everybody - not yet!) seems so sleek and sophisticated and elegant. His hands don't have long, tapering fingers with beautiful oval nails. The hands seem a bit different in looks from the rest of the package (yeah, yeah, "package" - we get it - try to stay with the topic, huh?)
I'd like to investigate his feet more closely to see if they are knobbly like his hands. (No cracks about other knobbly stuff.) He's very lucky to have so many parts that are beautiful. The hands make him more interesting, being more powerful than graceful looking. Probably needs that power in his hands to keep up with the slayer. I'm not saying his hands are my *favorite* body part - just interesting.

Welcome aboard Patti. Your name has been included on the roll (or was that biscuit? Croisant perhaps??) of the VHISN. It sounds like your curriculum will be well appreciated and may indeed become required in the "continuing studies area" thereby allowing current Chairs to qualify it as a credit to stay on staff.
I am sure that you will want to be contributing to the Old Teachers Benefit Fund voluntarily from your paycheck, so we'll jsut sign you up for that right now. *wink*
Again, welcome. Join the party. Have some cake and watch out for the punch...Rusty was seen hitting it with a rather large bottle of tequila. Also, I might reccomend the party mix...heavily laden with Weetabix for that extra crunch.

//However, her suggestion as to getting a free site to upload them to, to post from, is out of date (as I and my fellow senior S'cubies discovered a while back). Most of the free sites now will not let a picture housed on the free site to be displayed elsewhere. I have been searching for a free one that still does to no avail.// Ahhh, sorry for the misinformation Patti, I have a site of my own so it's been a while since I've actually used the free sites. Just a note to Vlad and others: I don't store much on my site besides my very small site files and a small monthly gamenight site. If you need more space for picture storage, feel free to let me know and we can upload them there... Rae Hanson

Ok, this has been driving me nuts all day. How can I edit my posts? For all my "can you tell I do this for a living", I haven't been able to figure out how to get to an edit page. I know I did in the past over on the Buffy/Angel episode board but can't remember how.
Thanks bunche!

Do you know, I have noticed the same thing, with the same reaction. His hands and 'seemingly' big feet save his sleek and graceful self from looking at all effeminate (ok, I've spelled that 3 ways now and it still looks wrong.) I say seemingly big feet cause they're usually in those big old boots and I can't really tell.

Thanks Vlad! I love having my name on a croisant! I'm going to hike over to the institute now and check out that shiny new sign on the door! :-) Whee, I'm back in Academia!

After asking you and Vlad about this, I realized that I actually have free (well, included) webspace in my broadband connection package (which is new to me from January). I started to create the site but it had some icky preset look to it and I backed out of the wizard. I really just want an empty space to put pictures for now. When I figure this out, I can load pictures there to aim over here. I think.

That's kinda small, isn't it? For a guy? I don't know.

I think that's kinda average, on the 9.5 foot size, for a guy who appears to be what . . . 5'9" or 10"? I say that based on my experience with family and friends, so it's not exactly based on conclusive scientific study.
You'd think I'd know more, given my fetish for measuring tape.
I like a guy to have . . . guy hands, so no problem there.
I just like him head to toe.

Right around a 9 (8.5 to 9.5) is average for an American male. And jsut for those of you that care.. the Pope wears the same size shoe as James Marsters. Don't ask me how I know that. *LOL* Actually (tho' my feet are bigger now) I used to wear a 9.5 in HS and it was a trivia fact that stuck then.
So, if JM is around 5'9" (an inch over US average) then I'd say he sounds average all over. *grinning* I am sure some of you S'cubies would beg to differ.

Well there you go! That would work wonderfully for you. All you have to do is upload the pictures to the site. No icky html involved anywhere. I am going to assume your broadband agent provides some type of easy uploading software to the website, if as you mentioned, it had a page creation wizard. Jsut upload them and then when you post them on ScoopMe!, jsut do an replacing the brackets with < > and the URL with your actual url name and the filename with extention. If thats not clear, feel free to email me or nan or Alex as we all could help you further. Vlad, TA, tp Edited By Vlad I at 3/11/2003 11:28:00 PM.
