Um, holy crap?
Mad kudos to everybody who said Troy couldn't be trusted.
I feel so much for Veronica and Keith; both are so damaged by what happened...

I knew that boy wasn't to be trusted. Nice how the throw away line last week about Troy having rented a hotel room was the foundation for not trust Troy this week. When he kept pushing her to 'celebrate' his last few days there, I knew he was up to something and I might not have suspected that if I hadn't known about the hotel room. I'm still confused why Logan wasn't giving him a hard time about seeing Veronica in the beginning of the episode... unless Logan knew the truth about Troy. They all did seem to accept Troy easily (and didn't they know him from when he was younger?) so it's possible that they did know the truth and that's why they didn't weren't trying to convince him not to be with V. Of course that would make me even annoyed with those guys just when I was warming up to them. I feel bad for the counselor and the Dad but I don't know if I could handle my Dad dating someone if my Mom was still out there somewhere and they were not divorced. I think this is my favorite episode so far. It was a good mix of mystery of the week and the overall mystery. Plus, I got to see V riding behind Weevil!

I guess I just wasn't feeling the Veronica/Troy loving so I don't think she's that hurt... she's still too cynical for it. I do feel for the Dad but... well see my earlier post. He's got some closure to get through before he can move on successfully anyway.

I totally bought his teary eyed explanation there near the end. At least he isn't a murderer. (I hope, I hope, I hope.) So,at the end, I assume Veronica didn't get her mom's message because that was on speaker? Cool how she took that dealer's picture. doh.

She just had her earphones on so she didn't hear the phone ring. It sounded like her Mom got her voicemail instead. She just won't be able to call back most likely... the phone probably had lots of minutes on it but I'm betting her Mom ditched it right after leaving a message. (Of course, if V was smart, she wrote down which phone she sent to which person... I think they all have to have separate numbers.)

Not enough Weevil, tho - but he is kinda evil isn't he - with the deal he has with his uncle?.

I gotta say Weevil is always my favorite part of the story and I want more of him. In the story. I was disappointed in Logan - I thought last week that he was basically a good kid etc...but now I think that whole crowd are corrupt through and through... I haven't trusted Troy from the beginning - but I was surprised that he's GONE - I didn't know they were going to say adios to him so early. I agree with you Rae - I don't see how Veronica could be expected to be all that welcoming to her dad's new girlfriend when she doesn't even know where her mom is or why she left, etc. Plus, I think she was really very courteous and adult with them both. She wasn't rude - she couldn't be expected to jump for joy. This show is kinda grim. But I'm sucked in.

I had seen the promo which was spliced together to make Troy look suspicious. And I still bought into his whole, "it's all in my past" sob story. Notice how when people are trying to hide the truth they get all aggressive and play up the the "you're the bad guy" and unfair to me. Made her feel all guilty. I was soooo pleased that she hadn't bought it (like silly me).

She must have access to a lot of money to be able to do stuff like that. I was so sad for her dad and the girlfriend. They had something special. It does seem like dad is ready to move on, tho.

Hmm, I didn't actually think it was that depressing. V barely knew the guy. I guess I just wasn't feeling the Veronica/Troy loving so I don't think she's that hurt... she's still too cynical for it. I do feel for the Dad but... well see my earlier post. He's got some closure to get through before he can move on successfully anyway. The Troy part wasn't depressing - cause I didn't trust or like him - but just my feeling now that Logan has little to recommend him - my hopes that Veronica and Duncan would get back together are pretty much kaput- unless she can turn on a dime several times... And that scene in the restaurant and then that dim little birthday party....where's the hope?

I think she just so wanted to be loved again. Sort of a backstep with the Logan thing tho from the truce they seemed to reach last week.

It was my first thought because she had like 7 or 8 phones she was sending out. I was looking at them spread out on her floor wondering just how much those all cost her.
