Poor Casey indeed! At the end there, was he back to being snotty Casey? Or was he just mad at Veronica's part in all this? Or is he playing a part until he's old enough to leave home? Or was it just a bad morning? Lola He had his car back, and his walk. I think he'd really been 'deprogrammed'.

Yeah, I liked that it really was just a bunch of excessively nice people. This show is doing a nice job of keeping me guessing whether folks will turn out to be the good guys or the bad guys. Lola It's keeping me guessing whether there will be an episode next week too...there was no preview. I wonder if it's going on hiatus now.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! So--she's decided to just be friends with Duncan? I mean, forget the inheritance--wouldn't she want to know if she has a brother? Back to the beginning. She wondered if Keith went after Jake as revenge....why would she automatically assume that Keith would know..if he isn't her father? And--I STILL think it's Celeste! WHO is Celeste! All these people we don't see enough...

It does mean things though. It means a lot to how she's going to react to Duncan and her feelings about him if she still has them. It could be a huge clue to the murder of Lily...I think it was not brave of her to shred it. But, braver yet would be telling her dad what the creepy guy said and asking him the truth. Yep. Of all the things to keep from him, this is the worst. I know that it's because she's scared and she doesn't want to hurt him and because part of her really doesn't want to know, but . . . . dude! Honesty would be the way to go here. Scary, but true. Lola

If I remember right, it was a flyer about a sale or coupon for a Chinese resteraunt or something like that. **sigh** Man, I sure love Veronica's dad. He is just one great guy. Lola huh. and yes, he is.

I think it's because, like a lot of kids, she still tends to think, somewhere deep down inside her, that her dad is "all knowing". I mean, not really, but . . . . like she still has that view of grown-ups as people that are in charge of stuff, that know what they are doing, etc. It's not until you become an adult, and sometimes not 'til you've been one for a long time, that you realize you're just as clueless about most stuff as when you were younger. You've just learned to hide it better. Although, all that is just fanwanking. Really, it's because it makes a nice plot point to get us all wondering about Jake and Keith and what's really going on. ;D Lola

He had his car back, and his walk. I think he'd really been 'deprogrammed'. Re-programmed. (As opposed to "de") $80,000,000 will do that to you--even without the scary guy in black. Somehow I don't think he's going to be very nice to his parents. They would probably have been better off with nice-but communal-son rather than it's-all-my-money son.

There were two or three 'hmmm...rather improbables' this week. The nifty easy way she determined who took the surveillance photos was the first for me, another that jumped out was the face on the milk carton. I don't like the coincidences to be quite that amazing.

I'd guess no new eps until January--but since the ratings have been improving slightly each week even the re-runs may do well since people who have discovered it more lately will be willing to go back and watched stuff they missed the first time around.

Yeah, I'm thinking they don't know it yet, but bringing back old snotty Casey - now with a heck of a lot of resources at his disposal? Not such a good idea. Another great example of fairly lousy parenting skills among the rich and famous of Neptune. Not a real big surprise that so many of the kids are either messed up or not very nice - or both. Lola

I don't like the coincidences to be quite that amazing. I didn't have a problem with the photos - that was just edited to be fast, but you could see all the steps she followed to figure it out. (Although the restaurant credit receipt from many months ago, shared with a kid just walking up . . . . hmmmm.) But the milk carton was sloppy. Would have been just as easy to have her find out about Rain naturally because she had been investigating. Like, she had done a search on all the people there before to see what turned up and came home to find these results after she'd already decided to stop investigating. Or something like that. Lola

no more deprogramming shows for you! Aww, you're no fun! **snicker** Makes me wonder, though, how changed Casey really was if it was that easy to "reprogram" him. Maybe I am just hoping that he is simply pretending to be the old Casey until he's old enough to leave them and not have trouble. Lola And with that, I am out of here and to bed!
