Very full. We go from an ep with lots of subtexty stuff that might be a metaphor for Lily's murder or the stuff going on at Neptune high to one where we get so many possible leads and plot points that I'm like . . . wow. Definitely have to re-watch this one. AND Veronica is a great little singer! I loved that part of the show - 'I'm gonna get you' - so fitting for her!

Perfect choice of song, but also her singing was great and the gestures and stuff. Priceless! I really liked how Veronica kept bringing up the important thing - the kid in the coma - to everyone who kept trying to weasel out of stuff or distract her. Even when, (um, was his name Rick?), the guy who first gave out her name and turned out to be the guy who did it was lying about scary stuff about live rats being nailed to his door she hung tough. (Talk about another Buffy moment. He said that and I was like, Angelus!) Lola

I think I missed that this week...he has a sister? I know I missed the reason Logan blamed Veronica - I have to rewatch to catch everything - this episode was fulll. Sorry I'm suddenly having to share the computer. Well, I was watching for it because of the mention in TV Guide: Aaron said, "The only one who is talking to me is my daughter."

Yep. And, you tell me Karen, mother of sons---my kid wouldn't be caught dead dressing up in a robe and chanting garbage in unison---he and his friends would laugh that kind of society out of the school, no matter how "prestigious" the members. I think it must be a thing handed down from father to son. Not something we do in our families. And yeah, my boys - not so much with the chanting or robes. Or joining ritualistic-type clubs, for that matter. They are so out of the loop!! ;D

huh! I'll have to go back and watch for that. Yes- Aaron even gave her a name: "My daughter Trina." I suppose she could be a half-sister to Logan, rather than a full sister. Lynn - sure seems like she jumped off that bridge. If they don't find a body, then it's possible we'll see her again. But . . . it did look bad. I mean - it just looked bad. Poor Logan, he seems so much on the edge, this can surely push him over, and then what? Notice that Rick was blaming Veronica and Keith for his parents break up because of Keith's snooping. Logan could go this direction too . . . certainly gives him one more thing to hold against Veronica. If Keith hadn't told Aaron about Lynn, then they wouldn't have had that argument . . . And having that argument, right over Logan's head, like he wasn't even there. . . so awful. Duncan talking gibberish - hmmm. And he can't remember something like three days? It might suggest drugs, but it also suggests a extremely severe trauma. And really - we saw a shot of Duncan looking totally out of it, right after Lilly's death. So . . . I don't think drugs. Whatever happened, Duncan saw it all, and possibly participated, even. Trauma can and does cause complete (if possible temporary) memory loss, so -that may be what is going on there. Wallace was very cute in this.

Huh. Lilly and Weevil. I KNEW it!! Yes - it seems to be conclusive now: they were a romantic item. But Logan knows nothing about that, I guess. Duncan: A terrible singer. Then he speaks in gibberish. Something is very very wrong there. Kind of a "sins of the father" thing going on in the episode. Lots of references to what dad did. Sheriff Lamb continues to impress me as a guy who actually believes himself to be doing what's best - I mean, I don't see him as an evil-doer, but rather as someone whose personal weaknesses and failings make him easily manipulated. Needs a rewatch really, but hey, it's Sue's turn! And once again, I curse whatever powers have moved VM to 11pm around here. Everyone is gone. And will be on to Lost tomorrow. Night!

And I was not really happy with Veronica bugging the office. I mean, she (and we) got some information that may prove very important and it did lead her right to the Titons, but still. It made me feel ooky on her behalf. Listening in on private counseling sessions is very different than planting a camera to watch a money drop spot. Lola I think the end will justify the means IF it helps Veronica find the real killer. I imagine the details she gleaned from them could definitely play a role that way. I must say, though, that I really don't see Weevil and Logan opening up to anyone like that, much less a member of the faculty. Duncan I could see, because he's shown more overt vulnerability in front of others...but Logan and Weevil are all about the wall. The plot device served its purpose, though: it answered a couple of questions, while creating a few more.

Not to me Lola. I think her whole life was dependent on her husband. . I think she truly felt she'd have nothing at all if she divorced him. Logan didn't matter much to either of them apparently. Community Property state, no?

*snort* They seemed smaller than the last time she was on. Lighter lipstick, I think. I can't believe she's dead. Me neither. I can't see this show as one that would balk at showing her jump. So it must be that everyone is just s'posed to believe that she jumped.

But some fraternities and so on do stuff just as goofy. And I could see kids thinking this was a head start on that college world. Add in the whole "dad did it and so my older brother" and I bet you'd have kids doing it even while they thought it was stupid. Especially if it got them something. Plus, since it's secret, they'd figure no one would find out about the dumb robes and stuff. Lola Hey, was the MIT guy one of the Tritons? The one playing the chess game on his lap in the Guidance Office vestibule?
