Your awesome Ryan Seacrest hair! "You undercounted the sassy." Brava, Veronica!! Help Troy, simply because he didn't do it, but reserving judgement. Try to find the rapist. And turn in the frat guys! Woot! "If it's double secret probabtion." ;D ;D Awwwww. Logan with patented woobie look. But, he tells her the truth. Aaaaand they get back together. (They're actually pretty cute together. She's growing on me. ;D ) "Dad. Your hooker's here." "Escort!" Logan - that was sooooo stupid. Maybe a bit noble, but mostly just really really really stupid. Wallace!!! College scholarship, dude! **high fives Wallace** Patented Veronica "dumb blonde" act. HA!!!!! Fitzpatricks again!

Actually, the guy Veronica tasered was just a little less annnoying than the tall skinny geek who was insisting on doing iridology at the Culinary Spice Shop yesterday,
Julia, I've been to that party...

did I miss something? Did they say who raped the girl? i don't believe so. last i heard was veronica saying: the guy that raped you is still out there. great episode! i don't have time right now to go into details . Enjoyed the ep, but I've decided not to trust first reactions anymore. I need to rewatch---something I don't always make time to do for eps I'm not reviewing, but which experience tells me really is essential to understanding/appreciating/catching important stuff. A few immediate reactions: Did enjoy Wallace being Wallace---I think someone else already also made that comment. Off the top of my head I am not immediately thrilled with the possibility that this is a set up for season 3 to be based around chasing a serial rapist. That's ooky to me. Oh, and, I really don't want to see Troy as a regular next year. [Replacing Dick I would presume who I feel in my gut will not "survive" this season-----he's gonna figure into some part of the shenanigans I think. We need to analyzing all of Dick's t-shirts like people analyze the LOST numbers.] (?The Kane scholarship isn't linked to Hearst (Hurst?) is it? ) Is Aaron behind the stealing of Logan's case files? Can't think why. Altho Logan stole the tapes for Aaron's trial, but this is different. Maybe he set it up before he got the news that the trial was dismissed? Whiplash moment: boom, trial is dismissed! Boom, Hannah is off to Vermont! ---I've got to think that the Fitzpatricks are going to be extremely pissed at the doctor. I can't think why he dismissed them so lightly. ---You would also think that Lamb would be hacked off as well and threaten to prosecute him for false testimony or something. ---Having charges dropped is not exactly like having your name cleared, so Logan is still reviled muchly by the larger Latino community. ---Speaking of Emmys, (and being redundant to many comments made on this thread, but really it can't be said too often or too strongely): Jason Dohring is one hell of an actor. I'm ready to throw over LO/VE and jump on the L/H band wagon. [Facial expressions alone and it's like there are thought bubbles over his head reading, "this is wrong, I shouldn't be doing this, I'm not a good person....but Hannah is so sweet and good and light that maybe she can save me, redeem me, or at least make me forget my misery for a short time.] It's like, he knew he shouldn't "drag her into his puddle of muck" but he wasn't strong enough to resist when she was the one bright light in his miserable life. So, no real choice but to write her off, but whoa, RT doesn't take any half measures does he. Boom and she's in Vermont! And really totally possible given the doctor's personality and storyline. Still, the entire landscape changed a lot last night and very quickly. While I don't consider the "Felix's murder" plotline to be actually resolved it is, for the moment, off the table. Anyway, now I'm rambling. More after (hopefully) rewatching, altho no clue when that will be. Out most of today and tomorrow again.

My initial thoughts before reading the thread:
As Top Model winds down and the latest loser (oh wait where's my politically correct talk - I mean the latest contestant who was not chosen this week)walks down the hallway with her suitcase, I'm all tingly with anticipation. This is it - finally. We get to see what Logan did that was horrible and Veronica's reaction. This should be good.
Okaaaaaaay then. Note to Rob. You are (1)Evil (2)a Tease (3) Causing me to pull my hair out with frustration. (d)all of the above.
Oh well - I'll forgive you because again, a really good episode with lots and lots of goodies to bring the happy. And look it's the pretty(Logan that is). Logan, Dick, Veronica and a teacher we've seen before. I love the teacher continuity on VM, it makes the high school so much more "real" to see familiar faces floating about.
I love the fact that superteen Veronica did NOT solve the mystery. To me this type of writing enriches her character. Falling for false clues initially last week, not solving the mystery this week - although she succeeded in her goal of exonerating Troy - all add up to a character I can believe in. She's not Nancy Drew - thank God!
Under the so much to love areas:
Cliff! Shirtless Cliff! Cliff handcuffed to a bed! Cliff with a zest for life! Cliff doubleteaming with Keith against Lamb! The flyer! They made a flyer! And came up with a campaign slogan! Oh my freaking God was that magnificent.
I thought it would be Kendall behind the handcuffing instead of random escort. (Hee on the Veronica answering the door with Dad your hooker is here line - hee, hee, hee) So curiouser and curiouser - why do they want Logan's case files. Methinks Aaron is continuing to pull strings in his quest to become the new O.J. and throw some suspicion Logan's way. Hmmmmm.
May I just say teaming Lamb with Madison - bwah!!!!! Best hookup ever. Muhvey looked very hot in his black t-shirt grope mode and Madison dumping Dick for Lamb - I reapeat Bwah!!!!!!!!!! Writer love.
Bell was terrific as Veronica last night. Her Emmy speech was spot on - over the top, but not too over the top. The swelling music, the build to her voice breaking and the abrupt - she was Hawaiian. Hee, hee, hee. So much love for that scene. And I for one enjoyed the in your face beer throw.
Bell's "I don't want to be here" vibe was played on just the right level for me. I've read some dissing of the casual tasering but it didn't bother me too much. I felt that Veronica had so many things festering behind her "I'm okay, I'm here, I'm same old Veronica" level that the tasering was simply an outburst of all those emotions. She was at a school she didn't want to be at and despite all her protesting, I'm sure she was facing the inevitable and knew she was probably going to end up here. She had to face an exbf that used her and played her - all this after her (CONVERSATION WITH LOGAN THAT WE DIDN'T GET TO SEE!!!!!!) that had to be in the background of her mind also. Couple this with being a single gal at a party where coupling is occurring - never easy anyway and I just think it was all an "Okay, that's it, the jackass is starting his numbering seduction ploy again - at least I can control this" and taser, end scene. So it didn't really bother me as I got where it was coming from.
George Michael/Maeby did a great job. I kept half suspecting George Michael/Dean to be the rapist as he added a slightly off vibe to his acting that kept me wondering. Another good day for the casting department as Aaron Ashmore (never a favorite of mine) did a good job also playing Troy. Kristin Cavalleri is slowly starting to fade from my mind.
And then there's Logan. And Hannah. And Logan and Hannah and it looked like almost oral sex. And today I'm once again standing up (in a crowd where many are covering their faces and shuddering with disgust) at the absolute purity and magnificence of Dohring's acting performance. Everything was so Logan and so, so nicely played. From the forehead touch, to his self-loathing, to his attempt to be all protective, to his realization that Griffith had indeed won the day with his Boarding school move - Dohring was magnificent. I say that alot but he truly is. If only all my acting students could sit at his feet and absorb some of the attention to detail, the complete staying in character from every gesture to every eye movement to every muscle in his face - I would be one happy acting teacher.
I'm glad Hannah is gone, I want Logan and Veronica to resume their twisted, complicated, completely flawed romantic dance but I can understand why Hannah was introduced and I give JS props for bringing her performance level up to a par where I actually felt her pain and cared about her feelings during the breakup. But then - Dohring always has that effect on other actors - he pulls them up to his level.
Mystery clues - well there's ol Danny Boy doing construction and making with the da da dah eyes at Veronica. Which seemed to be the sole bus related clue we were giving. Blowing up the stadium, C4, and property values rearing it's head again. And Logan is a free man and next week it looks like Weevil is back so Felix and his story seems to be winding to a conclusion. And look - Veronica and Logan highfiving it and smiling at each other. Squeeeee! (I mean it's not a M.A.D. squeeeee but I take my squees where I can find them this year).
I'm a little spoiled re the upcoming episodes so I'm not going to do too much speccing re the mysteries. I picked my solution to the mysteries a week or so ago and now I plan to enjoy the ride and see how it plays out.
