Fotada! So great to see your first analysis - I'm so excited that we'll have another great pair of reviewers again this season. I liked your section headings of "where we've been" "where we are" and "where we're going" - it was a good way to organize the ideas and it really fit this ep in particular. (Heee! Letting go of our opening credits. ;D ) Nice linking of the past to the current by pointing out the common threads of VM, false images and issues of trust and betrayal. I love that these are repeating themes in VM particularly because they are such noir themes. But I also really liked the two themes because: * you identified the main ways they were used in the ep (your bullet point list of questions people should have been asking), linking up the COTW to the longer mysteries of the rapist and Kendall's story * they also were applicable when you explored the character-based storylines as a way to talk about future possibilities. Finally, the comparison of Parker and Dick was most excellent! Very nice job, Fotada, very nice! Thank you so much, Lola!! I'm so glad you liked the review. The Parker/Dick comparison just kind of sprang out at me. Parker and Piz have some things in common too. It's so cool how many storylines are interwoven. I wouldn't have had the nerve to try to write the review without the support of all the S'cubies, but you especially have been such a great cheerleader! Rah! Rah! Rah! Shake your pom poms, Lola! ;D

That was an absolutely fabulous review Fotada. What a great opening night! And you a rookie and all. I'm sorry I don't have time to quote and be specific but I really enjoyed it. Well done.

Fotada, I jsut wanted to make sure I slipped in here and gave you my own pom-pom shake over your review. Nicely handled! Well done! And thank god we won't have another half season of those dreadful Sue reviews. Man, they were sure dragging us down! Now, if you can jsut ice out Spring... Oh wait, did I type that outloud? Seriously, good review. I look forward to your thoughts on more episodes. This looks to be an interesting season! And Sue, I do hope you know I was jsut kidding! Spring on the other hand... Vlad ps. Oh, and one final addition to this post. Count me in on the folks that abhor the new opening. I like neither the montage or the remix of the music. The music is worse than the montage, however. Just thought I'd add that if anyone is keeping a tally. Rob T. maybe? V

I never noticed yet. I am in such a hurry to shut off the show at the end credit before I get spoiled by the previews that I haven't seen the mice this season yet!. The bastards! Vlad
