We hear you, Michelle. Several of us have been there. It's a shock to realize how profoundly it can shake you up. Cyberhug.

A LOT of of the Angel posters really dislike (hate) Connor. I think that affects their attitude toward Angel loving him. To me it makes Angel's love even more real. If anybody else acted like that you'd probably give up on him, but not your child. I mean, of course I love MY children--everybody loves MY children--what's not to love? (That's mostly tongue in cheek---read my profile). But to love Connor: Angel isn't human--he's a saint. And his friends don't get it either.

Sue,
I hate Connor, though I have to grudingly admit, not as much as I used to after watching Wednesday's "Angel". However, my hatred of Connor does not preclude me from appreciating Angel's love for him. Like you, it makes me admire Angel even more. Hell, if he can LOVE that punk, the least I could is kinda like him.
You're right about some of the posters who cannot see past their hatred of Connor. It's been an interesting (to say the least) discussion over there. Good points were brought up but at times, they were lost among the tension.
Anyhoo, I don't think this post really had a point. Surprise, surprise - a post of mine didn't have a point! :-)

I'm gone for the weekend, therefore, I'm getting a headstart on the next Part to avoid our posting past 500 (I hope).
See you all Sunday evening.

Hey Rob, Sorry for the delay, some friends kidnapped me today. I'd be happy to email you but I don't actually have the new URL to the Super Secret S'cubie email page. I had it until Vlad had to change it. I don't think he had my email at the time so I never got the update. However, my email is rae@raelee.com (it's also listed in my ScoopMe profile). Feel free to email . -Rae Hanson

David, there was the small link of the Bringer's knife used by the woman convict to try to kill Faith...but I expected more too.

Michelle, that is great news! I appreciate David saying that, it should be an encouragement to the network and it certainly is to me. I can't WAIT for some David/James interaction! Of a strictly platonic nature.

Diane, when I see you tomorrow, I'll TELL you why I don't have to do that. Everyone else will have to wait til Part 2 is posted. (But it won't matter to them as much anyway.)

Ok, since we're into true confessions, I'll add my confession. When I FIRST started watching Buffy about 2+ years ago, and immediately went into Spike lu-I mean, Spike admiration, I was excited to find a movie coming on starring Spike himself, James Marsden! I watched the movie, kept squinting and checking the cheekbones, making allowances for the hair, watched the whole movie and it wasn't until the next day that I saw I had the name wrong. Felt like an idiot. SO glad to find I'm not the only one. It was a bad movie, too.
