ok, I am guessing her as a child maybe? That's what I think, too. Interesting that little Hera is having nightmares, too, and that we were told that.

So, this ep is gonna be full of dreams and flashbacks and prophesies and hallucinations.
Cool!
First, Kara dreams of covering over the painting that won't be hidden and having hot sex with Leoben.
Then we learn that little child Hera is also having bad dreams and Kara sees/imagines . . . herself? Her daughter?
Then instead of going to a psychiatrist, she goes to a seer. Who channels Leoben before he went out the airlock and gets told she "learned the wrong lesson" when mommy was closing her hands in doors.
Hmmmmmm.

help a newbie , who was the little girl Starbuck saw in the bathroom? This is a good question, my friend. Was it a flashback of herself as a kid? Was it a vision of a daughter in the future? Or was it . . . . ?

They have some nice special effects on this show.
But really, I am not following at all, because Kara . . . I just don't know anything about her. Bur I guess I will learn, huh?

Sam agrees, and so do we I think, that mom messed with little Kara's head long before Leoben got there. "Fear gets you killed; anger keeps you alive." Yeah, that's pretty much Kara's main philosophy, alright. "It was worth it, though", she says with that little touch of a smirk. Soooooo messed up, she is. Enjoying the sky for a few lovely moments before it all goes wonky again. So, is the cylon raider really there, or was Kara the only one to see it and therefore it may be a hallucination? Oooooh, the Eye!! Or at least she's seeing the Eye in the clouds of this planet. Radiation and badness and she sees the scary Cylon doctor **eeep** and almost doesn't pull out in time. Wanted to keep diving into the Eye, did she?

When Starbuck smiles, sometimes she reminds me of Julia Roberts.

And in the recent past. And everywhere in between.

I'm thinking there's more to Kara. Crossing over. Into death? To recognizing herself as one of the final five? Leoban suggests it's death. I'm not so sure.

Not a scratch on her fighter and not a cylon in the gun camera footage. Of course the other pilots are gonna start to say the raider never existed. Heh. The doc says in peacetime, he'd ground them all. Yeah, I imagine he would. Adama leaves it up to Apollo to decide if she should be grounded and Apollo thinks Starbuck's image of herself as pilot is all that is keeping her together. Well, if you can call that "together". She wants her photo to go up next to Kat's. Her and Lee do the mutal pledge of posting photos on the memory wall. Assuming they will die in the fight, and they are likely right. She's crazy, he's a bastard, but he trusts her eyes even over the evidence. Ah, Lee. Attempting to banter with Adama and Roslin. Hmmmm. How significant is it that she passes her figure of Aurora to him? A fair wind, a fresh start. And now she's hallucinating her childhood self into the cockpit. She's in serious trouble.
