Good grief!
I (had) caught up on part 27, then the ep board, went out, came back to begin on part 28 and find Josh Buckman has posted his end of year Angel commentary and that board is open too.
Now, no matter how much I ignore RL ocassionally one must tend to the call of nature and possibly eat. This is ridiculous!

In the "Spanish Inquisition" sketch, there was a torture by comfy chair - I assumed that was what was meant.

Thank you David for reassuring me about the preview and answering my question about the amulet.
It was conspicuously present around Spike's neck in the previews but I had no idea of any connection to Angel til reading the comments on the board today. See, I knew there was a good reason for me to have been watching Angel. If only I hadn't kept forgetting about it while trying to play catch here Wed nights.
Unspoiled here, but can't help speculating whether that amulet is somehow connected to the san-shuing (sp?) prophecy.

Thanks, Patti. I don't whine when I write a huge long ranting post and nobody notices or comments on it, SO THERE!
So thanks, Patti. Good to know all my speechifying was not entirely wasted...if it gave you a laugh. (NOT being sarcastic!)

James said: Spring, don't worry, when I'm going to be a real a**hole, I'll give you forewarning! James, I can't help being curious. Of what, precisely, will such forewarning consist? (imagine pleasant, attentive smile) Nan

Nan, Good question. I'd have to have some sort of initial disclosure of the fact before my main message. Of course, according to those who love me, I'm an a**hole all the time, so, not sure when I'd be aware enough to give the warning! LOL! Actually, Nan, I was waiting for your response to my initial question. I counted you among one of those who'd give me something to chew on!

Mary said: 'There was one point where I got just a tad annoyed. I asked a question about Blood & Fog, about the other Buffy novels. This discussion went on for awhile, but most of the posts had names in the title, and none were mine - the person who had asked the initial question. I certainly could have jumped back in, but I didn't.'
Mary, your post got me thinking about stuff. So, some of this is NOT so much directed AT you as it is generated by you, if you know what I mean.
First, I never knew so many people are feeling so 'Marcie'.
I really never think of 'so and so just said something, they need a response.')when I post. I just respond to whatever interests me, whoever wrote it. I'm usually looking at what a person said, not who said it, first. Until I 'know' the poster, and know that I'm going to enjoy what they said. But I know I have responded to your posts for instance because I remember writing 'Mary said'.
I think you are right - this is a two way street. Nobody's trying to ignore anyone. People (at least in my case) are just responding to what interests them. Although many would disagree about this, I really don't respond to every post. Really!
My advice to all new-ish posters: If one likes the general discusssion feel of the board and still feels lonely, talk more. If you say enough, something's bound to strike a chord with someone. That's MY method, anyway. :-) And if one doesn't like the general discussion feel here, it's so easy to find a board more suited to your style, your thoughts, your needs. That's how I found this board, by trying out several.
Also, here, like in the outside world, the longer people know each other, the deeper the friendship is. It just takes time. This is a very friendly board. But as more and more people come on, it is harder for every poster to greet every new poster. That's just a logistical thing. It's like...like when James Marsters was new to Buffy, he could personally autograph every photo and take personal photos with every fan. It is impossible now, because of the numbers. Growth brings its own set of problems.
Again, these are just random thoughts, some pertinent to you, Mary, some just brought on by thinking about what you said.

James said: 'But will make sure to check the scenes you mentioned (of course, living in the damn states, I wont get the DVD until next year, but alas, F/X will likely get up to Season 6 again by the end of June). Thanks! Your response was appreciated! ' James, does that mean you haven't seen season 7 yet? Because I was going to give you several examples of back and forth equality relationship from this current season, but won't if you haven't seen it. Patti T.

Thanks for the invite, James, but I can't think of a thing to say that Spring hasn't already said better. If I think of something, I'll pop up. Heaven knows, I'm not shy.

Hi, ***head! (talking to the dog.) I kinda wish you'd put your two cents in David, it might be instructive, but then again, you probably know best about this.
