Just so's you all know, I do know how to spell S-C-E-N-T. It was a typo or lose connection between my brain and my fingers.

// I really hope your right. I've never heard of BTVS having an unhappy set. I don't think we're going to hear too much about that, though the rumors will always fly. It just bothers me that feelings were hurt at a time like this. I hope James is right about everyone needing a little time apart. That Star article, by the way, was almost total BS in my opinion. The only thing I put any credence in were Nick and Alyson's comments in more credible forums. I don't know if I made that clear, but just in case... Anyway, I only posted because it's been bothering me a little. In reality it really shouldn't; it's a TV show. Yet it hurts me to hear anything negative about their working relationship. I'm not sure why. I think it's because I like them all so much. I want them to be as close off the set as they are on it. That's a little immature of me, but there it is. // Hey Rob... I'm finally catching up so you probably won't even remember this post . I totally understand how you feel. I've always avoided rumors of bad feelings on the set, etc. I love them all because of the characters they've brought into my live and I only want to them to be happy as well. So, be as immature as you want (because, as you know, I'm never immature -- rubber duckie conversations non-withstanding)!!!

Rob:
OK, just when I get my senses back (and my makeup repaired) from reading Diane's wonderful tribute that broke my heart, you have to go and write an amazing, heartfelt declaration that again caused me to break down in tears.
I can hardly see my computer screen because I am crying so hard. Your tribute to the show was so typical you: simply stated yet so incredibly powerful. I would quote my favorite parts but that would be the whole post. :-)
Your's and Diane's reflections on BtVS was such a wonderful reminder about why I love this show and why it holds such an incredibly huge place in my heart.
Thank you, Rob, for your moving words and your heartfelt sentiment. You have truly moved me and I thank you for that.
-L :-)

Part 31 is up and running. I haven't read any of Part 30 so if anyone needs to contact me, either use a separate message out on the Miscellaneous Board or use one of my emails on the secret S'cubie web site. Enjoy Part 31!

Lee, I haven't been reading all the posts, trying to finish Old Blood by/before tomorrow, so I can mope in peace afterward.
Could you please reference the number of Diane's tribute that you have such great praise for? I'd like to read it but haven't the heart to wade through all the posts to find it. Not that the others are not worthwhile, just that my concentration and focus are rather limited now.
Thanks,
Nan

//David said: How about a trumpet? Do you play? // I always play ... oh wait, you want to know if I play the trumpet... completely different. I used to play the trombone in high school -- yes, I was a band geek. Unfortunately, Michelle Flaherty was not a member of our band. Anyhow, the trumpet question was along the lines of the flute question -- in the second American Pie film, Michelle used a trumpet to get Jim out of his comfort zone. And then the bandleader walked in and played the trumpet. Very funny stuff. David Crenshaw

//It happens, people. Someone being led astray by a well-meaning but over-confident, cocky spouse or significant other leading to a career downfall of some extent. //
I like to call it "The Yoko Factor."

Hey! Patti says I have a minion! Patti says I have a minion!
Can the cool fangs and great eyesight and staying power (ahem) be far behind?
Patti, I have slightly new versions of these two, with stronger (dramatized) openings. I'm waiting to send them to Vlad when he gets his decks cleared, so when they're posted, take another look at least at the opening few paragraphs of each and see if they don't read better in that version.
Meanwhile, in terms of that scene you're referring to, I certainly meant it to be TA DA moment, and apparently with at least one reader, I succeeded. Neat!
Thanks.
