Nope. Apparently he filmed a pilot for NBC called "Rex Is Not Your Lawyer" with Sendil Ramamurthy, but it wasn't picked up.

David Krumholtz is also doing a pilot called "Tax Man" (more math) for Fox. Tax Man is set in an IRS office in Fresno, Calif. Isn't David Tennant supposed to be in that as well? Not that I can tell, on cursory search. There's "Rex is Not Your Lawyer" which is in limbo at the moment. Julia, it's Monday, cursory is as good as I get.

Good Monday morning, S'cubies. We're having kind of a bleak, gray day today, but are supposed to have a sunny week otherwise, so I am looking forward to that. Monnie and I are starting on a Raw Foods diet today, for at least two weeks. Breakfast was a large peach and a handful of raw pecans and cashews. I have an orange for a snack, and a big salad with avocado and some vingarette type dressing for lunch. I am not going to go 100% raw, so I'm having another large salad for dinner, but adding some seafood - and a piece of whole grain bread with not-raw goat cheese later, for an evening snack. I was going for "at least 75% raw" and without really defining it all too closely or measuring anything, I thought that looked about right. Yeah, I'm going for 75% raw, at least for the first week or so. I had a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast this morning, along with a fruit/veggie smoothie. That was . . . interesting. It was a blend of water, romaine lettuce, bananas and strawberries. I don't know if I used the correct speed on it or not, but the drink did come out kind of pulpy. I think I just need to experiment with it all, see how I can make it taste better. I ate a handful of raw almonds for a snack, and brought in a salad with lemon juice and plain tuna for lunch. I'm still drinking my green tea in the mornings because green tea is good for you, even though it is cooked. I just need to stop using the artificial sweetener. I'm cutting back on it slowly, with the hopes of doing away with it completely eventually. And I'm drinking a cup of coffee right now with one packet of sweetener and no creamer. Go me. \o/

I wish they'd announce when Season 3 of Ashes to Ashes starts. I've heard things about it that make me squee.
In a related note, I wonder how the average UK TV watcher feels about us poaching people like David Tennant...

You know, the only real bummer (for me) when the clocks jump ahead in the spring is that it's dark again now when I head off to work. ;D But, that means it won't be dark when I'm heading off home, so . . . Ah, well. Six of one, half a dozen of the other! So far, for us, the bummer is that the baby doesn't know from Daylight Savings Time. So she wanted to go to bed at 8:45 and get up at 7:00. The second isn't bad, but the first...not of the good. We compromised, and I put her to bed around 8:15. Tonight, I'm moving her bedtime back to the usual 7:45, DST be damned. The time change sucks. They say to adjust sleep times gradually is l . To celebrate Spring - I have new shoes! In purple. But at a great deal - locally. $14.00 inc tax. Couldn't say no to them.

I managed to get out and check cattle already (finally a calf from the second bull, YAY!) although now I've got to deal with the motivating of young people and the compounding of a gate system for letting our of old dog. Julia, my life at this moment is so tedious and boring that the only way I can tolerate it is by ignoring it as much as possible.

To reward myself for doing the raw food diet (and to give myself something to look forward to with each salad), I splurged and bought a bottle of the scrumptious olive oil that Rich and Jan introduced me to. I am going to have the most kick ass and delicious salad dressing ever. \o/

Remember how we fooled the border patrol at Niagara Falls, by not letting them know about the international contraband we had? Good times. And yes - that is some delicious olive oil. So good! Good thinking to reward yourself with something healthy and allowed on the diet.
