It can suck, that's for sure. Have you ever used Zotero? It might help with the formatting. That's a great thought, and I appreciate the link. Unfortunately, I'm not using any sort of word processing program in this case—I'm laying out an article in a graphic design program. So in order to get lines to wrap properly, without ending up with either r e a l l y l o o s e l i n e s or tightly packed ones, I have to force a break in the address. Which is made much trickier by the fact that you can only do it before the punctuation marks in a url. Meaning an address like www.northerndynastyminerals.com/i/ndm/NDM_RobertDickinson_nov2007.pdf is usually a bitca to work with because you can't break big blocks of text like the "northerndynastyminerals" part. Good times. If by good times, you mean the OPPOSITE of good times, then I agree. Yikes a hootie. I feel your pain.

My thanks to everyone who chimed in regarding my little quandary. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness, perspective, and insight—it helped me with my own thinking a great deal. S'cubies rock. I know you'll chose the right solution; I'm pretty sure you'd have done better than I picking through the mine field of this horrific weekend. Julia, so many people! so much talk talk talk! Thank you for that lovely vote of confidence.

See, this is why you should go to graduate school. You get instantly upgraded from "creepy fangirl" to "dedicated academic." And hee! BB is my mom's nickname for me; it stands for "Baby Bubbles." Mom is "Tiny Bubbles" because she is both energetic and very very short. The "BB" moniker is a bit of a misnomer in my case, being 5'10'' and crabby/lazy. I believe it's meant ironically. Heh, I'll add that to my list of reasons I should get off my ass and finish my bachelor's degree. I've gotten to where I use "bb" a lot lately. It gets used a lot in LJ land. YOU NEED TO JOIN LJ, YOU WOULD LOVE ALL THE META THAT GETS THROWN ABOUT, I CAN HOOK YOU UP WITH SOME GOOD COMMS AND INTERESTING PEOPLE. I feel like a drug dealer. ;D OMG, you're trying to turn Erin now, so you can introduce her to all your wonderful shiny LJ friends that are so much better than us?? Stay away from Erin!!

Don't give in to the not-as-darkside.

Doing the pop in. Had a great, great show last night. We had a bad dress rehearsal where I had to put on my evil hat and yell at some kids who didn't know their lines so it worked!s They were all great last night. Plus they surprised me with a Best Director award, flowers, etc and did it all like Oscar night with the nominees for Best Director in a Theatrical production are . . . . . .
Awwww, love my teen cast.
Anyway, Saturday night dateage was fun but no fireworks. The restaurant was great though and I had a fun dinner. Next guy is tomorrow for lunch.
AND GLEE TONIGHT!

Congrats, Pixi! That sounds great. So glad you are taking some "me" time, also. Good luck with the lunch tomorrow. Any guy would be very lucky to snag a prize such as yourself! I've taken some time off work to work on the house. Mostly, it involves cleaning up the two rooms upstairs, which were my son's domain. So it's quite the experience, cleaning and going through his stuff. But I'm getting through it.

I find this whole dating thing kind of hard work though. Too bad we can't just order up datebots. I'd take a Misha model. Why isn't cybernetics on this?

You would be great in LJland. It's fun there. Monnie is way more social than me - I mean I remember when I lured her there and now she pretty much rules LJland. But I'm happy to just lurk about in her shadows. Especially when she posts such pretty, pretty picspams. And yes, believe me, we all know that SPN has finished filming and WE ARE GOING CRAZY WAITING TO FIND OUT WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN ESPECIALLY WITH CAS/MISHA. Or that might be just me. ;D

This is soooo cooooool!!!!! Christina Hendricks Voted Best-Looking WomanWell, duh....we kinda knew that first. Too bad they didn't post her 'real' look in the magazine. I wonder why they changed her so much from the look that got her all the votes?

Okay, my week just got interesting. Not quite on a par with the "oh god, oh god, we're all gonna die" level of interesting, but it's definitely within shouting distance.
