Okay, my week just got interesting. Not quite on a par with the "oh god, oh god, we're all gonna die" level of interesting, but it's definitely within shouting distance. Hee! More of a oh god, oh god, we're all gonna wet our pants? What's the buzz?

Heh, I'll add that to my list of reasons I should get off my ass and finish my bachelor's degree. I've gotten to where I use "bb" a lot lately. It gets used a lot in LJ land. YOU NEED TO JOIN LJ, YOU WOULD LOVE ALL THE META THAT GETS THROWN ABOUT, I CAN HOOK YOU UP WITH SOME GOOD COMMS AND INTERESTING PEOPLE. I feel like a drug dealer. ;D OMG, you're trying to turn Erin now, so you can introduce her to all your wonderful shiny LJ friends that are so much better than us?? Stay away from Erin!! Nobody's better than us. Just sayin'.

Congrats, Pixi! That sounds great. So glad you are taking some "me" time, also. Good luck with the lunch tomorrow. Any guy would be very lucky to snag a prize such as yourself! I've taken some time off work to work on the house. Mostly, it involves cleaning up the two rooms upstairs, which were my son's domain. So it's quite the experience, cleaning and going through his stuff. But I'm getting through it. Thanks Spring. And huggles. I'm sure the going through things isn't easy. I find this whole dating thing kind of hard work though. Too bad we can't just order up datebots. I'd take a Misha model. Why isn't cybernetics on this? Agree on the "dating is hard work." A friend of mine, who was going through a period where she was dating anyone who could put at least one leg of his pants on, claimed that her indiscriminate dating -which took much effort for what seemed like zilch reward - was OK, because it "was fun." I guess she found it fun. Me, dating is a necessary evil - like taking some foul medicine, so you can get better. And yes!! We need better cybernetics. I mean, sex with robots is more common than most people think.

Do tell (though I remind you of the special thread for sensitive materials, should you need it).

Although at the moment it seems like Yoshi is preparing to do most of the work; I fully intend to help as much as I can until I have to start work on the auction catalog. And is it some unwritten law of the universe that on a day when I suddenly have a ton of shit to do there are literally 6 new fanfics in one of my fandoms to read, whereas yesterday, when we all spent the day clearing out old files to free up server memory, there were none? I mean, really? So not fair...

This is soooo cooooool!!!!! Christina Hendricks Voted Best-Looking WomanWell, duh....we kinda knew that first. Too bad they didn't post her 'real' look in the magazine. I wonder why they changed her so much from the look that got her all the votes? Too bad they used someone else on the cover Julia, tired, also tired, and answering a handful of comments yesterday evening felt like heavy lifting.

I get to work ready to finish it and the freaking internet was down. But at least you've got great stuff waiting for you later.

Oh, at least it's the fun kind of challenge, not the boring sort like "make five collated copies of a thousand pages of testimony and get them ready for the 5pm mail" which one would need a Tardis and some no-doz to complete. Julia, or whyevery administrative assistant on campus was on my side in that particular job.

Oh, and on last night's much deserved kudos.

But I wouldn't say zilch reward to date a lot of men....call it 'practice' and figuring out what you want and need from a guy (besides teh sex, that is )

But my directive came from the training department which must have a bonus objective to meet.
