Oooooh, gwar.
Must do monsterous shopping today, plus shrink appointment at 3pm, then tomorrow I have an eye appointment at 3:50 and will need picked up because of dilation.
Also, hate, hate, hate that every bus I use is mostly side-facing seats, so I'm either bus sick of have my spine yanked sideways every stop.
Julia, I do have my new high-vis waterproof purse, which is reassuring.

The fact that every once in a while I click through the cable guide and here's an episode of BtVS to watch makes me way happier than I would have guessed.Julia, Glory is being ever so rotten Oh, I feel the same way!!! I have my DVR set to pick up any Buffy eps. The CHILLER station was running a Season 1 marathon last week. Happy happy, joy joy!! (And - yes, I do have the DVDs, but it's just not the same, ya know? )

Hey ho, all! Very fun weekend, with our first real snow of the season, (not just tiny flakelets and so on), even if the rather largeness of the snow meant I ended up not getting to my concert Saturday night. (The friend I was going with lost her power for most of the day and then, just when it - and therefore her heat - came back, the plows went by and covered up the bottom of her drive, just a half-an-hour before it was time to leave. We took this as a sign that the evening was not to be! ) Since I own no car to dig out and someone else shovels my sidewalk, I was able to just thoroughly enjoy the snow fun! Walks in the snowy fluff! Snow-people all over! Sledding! Woo hoo!! Saturday's snow was sooooooo wet (it hasn't technically been below freezing, just in the low 30's) and came down sooooo thick and fast! Here's a pic of my front yard yesterday (and keep in mind, there was not a hint of snow there the day before - heck, it was in the high 60's just a few days before). Ain't they all just too cute? ;D Very cute! But I especially love this photo. And the fact that it's all way up north for now, and I am not having to do the shoveling and the bundling up. ;D Thought of you when I heard about the snowstorm. I knew you'd be in winter wonderland heaven!!

We missed DVRing yesterday's episode of "Sherlock." I can't find it being repeated at all -- can any of you? Only 3 episodes total? You might check the PBS site. I watched the first ep online; they were offering it on the site. I have missed the other two, so if you do find it - repeated or online- let me know. They are all online until Dec. 7. Maybe Allie can hook her computer up to the TV. Jim's not much for watching things online after working at his computer all. Maybe I'll check OnDemand too.

Only 3 episodes total? yep, it's British, so they do six of 45 or 3 of an hour and a half and call that a year. Doctor Who has the longest season for a British show. Well, I guess with the 90 minutes with no commercials each episode is almost equivalent to a motion picture. So three a year doesn't sound all that unreasonable. All, though only equal to 6 45 min. episodes (which would be hour shows with commercials). In that case I don't call 6 episodes even half a season.

Thanks, Sue. I will have to remember to watch them before they take them down. to all.

I don't know; I think a lot of TV shows in the states would benefit from a shortened season. I think Heroes would have been loads better if they'd only had 13 or fewer episodes per season; even in Season 1, there was a whole lotta filler.

Congrats to you, too, Matthew. Thanks, Spring! Wasn't fishing, and didn't mean to hijack Mon's post or squee: I'm damned proud of her (Hey, Monnie? I'm damned proud of you) for having done it. Thanks, hon. I don't know if I could have done it without you.
