I don't like the "no walking down the Runway." So hard to see/judge the looks.

Runway Rock and Roll! Team HarmonyAnthony Ryan - I idea is interesting and I do like the print he picked. But the fit is not good - esp on the pants. Anya - I actually think her idea was good and the end result actually kinda works, in a retro way. But I am impressed that she is so willing to point out what is bad about her own work! Laura - I like her outfit! The scarf thing is a tad cliche, but the rest of it actually works rather nicely, I think. Bert - This actually works rather nicely. I don't know how much the guy likes it, but I do. Again, a retro thing, but that fits with this team's "look". Team UntitledJoshua - I actually like the pants. From the front. He was right to have a zipper call attention to the crotch - very rock'n'roll. But those butt pockets? NO! No no no. The top, with the odd vesty thing? Not liking so much. Kimberly - Pants are decent. The shirt is ... well, not my favorite either, Kimberly. Definitely not of the good. Viktor - I like this. Very retro, very indeed. But I like his jacket and the "created" jeans are pretty good. Not sold on the shirt. Olivier - May have dodged a bullet that should have hit him. Those pants are actually looking not too bad (which is amazing considering where they started). The shirt wouldn't be as bad if it didn't have those pockets. What's with the ugly patch pockets, everyone? What gives? Now to post and listen to the judges shred these folks! They'll be WAY harder on the designers that I was.

I think they're gonna go for Josh, but I liked both Bert and . . . the other guy, the one with the braided leather jacket, better. I agree with Nina about the braids being a good thing. Agree the front zipper for Josh was great, but the back pockets? No. And the vest - he never gets the "edit yourself" message. Way too much going on.

I don't like the "no walking down the Runway." So hard to see/judge the looks. Indeed! Also? Menswear challenges are always a bit more boring than women's-wear. They like Laura a bit and Ryan a bit (and also not a bit for each) and really like Bert! Cool! But totally don't like Anya's. Really don't like hers.
Calling out Oliver for boring and not a great fit and not finished / time issues. (Using the same color-palate, dude! Step out a bit, guy!) Kimberly is getting lots of hell for the shirt (as she should). Viktor - they love the jacket and the jeans, maybe not so much on the shirt - woo hoo, my thinking exactly. (The braiding is very cool, indeed.) Joshua, they like the pants fit and zipper, but not the pockets (OMG, yes!). They like the mish-mash on top a bit more than I did, tho.
Winner? Viktor. Yay! I am cool with this decision!
Auf'd? Olivier. Well, that was deserved. For a while now, really, just because he can't move past his narrow vision of things yet.

I was soooo worried they were gonna give it to Josh! They love him a lot more than I do often. But those pockets? Never! Yeah, the braids that Bert had his guy wear? Perfect! And Viktor made his guy look sexy as hell, regardless of what Heidi thinks.

Cats. Vet. Cats have tapeworms. I have pills. Cats have periodontal disease. I have antibiotics and an appointment for cleaning in October. Poor Patches has a bandage on her hind leg from the blood draw, which I have to attempt to remove in an hour or so. Poor Shadow is inunder Katherine's bed. I have a tension headache/neckache/backache.
It was very expensive and highly traumatic for all of us, but better than sick cats, I guess.
The good news is that the cats are otherwise pretty healthy, and the vet complimented me on getting them down to a good weight. And Shadow just emerged and asked to go out, so I think she's feeling a bit less scared. I'll have to do pills later today; I hope I can remember how.

Sushi lunch with daughter went well. Issues with father remain unresolved but he has at least made a decision on an assisted living facility. Good of them to inform me, don't you think?

75F inside, 55%RH- outside it's much more humid and almost 80.
Feels like February in Waco.

Radiology rotation ended today. I'm going up to Casper tomorrow and starting Neurology on Monday.
I also wanted to inform you all that I'm officially not colorblind. In case anyone was wondering.

Well, I can't pill cats. Kitty held cats while I tried and tried and tried, and ended up with soggy half-pills and angry cats and a nifty scratch on my wrist. I think my hands aren't strong enough, and the Husband was too lazy busy watching TV to help. We chopped the pills up and mixed them into the cats' dinners. Now all we have to do is make sure everybody eats only out of their own bowl, and keep mashing bits of pills as they surface. And in two or three weeks, I get to do it all over again. At least the antibiotic will be easier; it's a liquid. As long as it doesn't make the cats barf like the last one did... Tell me again why I wanted cats, somebody? ETA, if anyone cares: Upon reflection, I think they were smaller last time I had to pill them, because my hands aren't big enough either. I would like to force Himself to help me next time, but I have a lowering suspicion that he'll be in Grand Rapids when they come due again. How convenient.

Heee! And I'm a bit worried about Kimberly too! But we'll have to see them in complete state to really judge! Yes, Kimberly's is probably my least fave look. Olivier just pissed me off. He acted like that poor guy was some kind of freak, when he was a normal sized (well, tall) dude.

I had a very Xander-like dream last night that is messing up my morning. Instead of ending up in my parent's basement over and over, I was on a vacation to a casino resort (or something) and got separated from everyone else and went around and in circles ending up back where I started in the process of trying to find them. Frustrating and oogy. *grumpgrump* Was there a gaping chest wound? No, there wasn't. I guess that's a good thing! No cheese man either though, which would have been kinda cool.

I've started a blog! I plan to review a handful of shows on it each week. I've started with Ringer, still haven't quite decided what other shows I'll do. Probably Hart of Dixie, maybe The Secret Circle, Nikita, Happy Endings.... It's still very much a work in progress, but if ya'll get the chance and are so inclined, please go take a look and let me know what you think. It's all just snarky and fun reviews, I won't be doing any in-depth analyses. Pop Culture StateIt's so awesome! Very very!! Not to be Debbie Downer, but I think it might be hard to keep up when you start school.
