The problem with having lots of awake hours before its time to get up for college is it gives me longer to not want to go at all. today I've been awake since midnight. and there's only 90 minutes of teaching now, so it may well take longer getting there and back than I get in lessons once I am there, and I kind of wish I hadn't noticed that because motivation is hard enough to come by without doing the math. Perhaps it's a good thing I've always been poor at math. Baby name has been announced. Hold on to your hats. *drum roll* Baby name is.... Robert. Bobman is SO proud. Awesome! Congratulations!

Dude. I cannot believe that we're still on the same thread. It's a warm day and my preceptor ended early today, so I'm in the park using the hospital's internet. Only now it's starting to cool off and my battery is low, so I don't know how much longer I'm going to stay out here. Tomorrow is the last day of my neurology rotation. I've really enjoyed this rotation, partially because the brain and nervous system are really interesting, but also because I've really enjoyed the folks I'm working with. I think I've made some really good friends and allies in the WY health care community that should be really good for all of us going forward. On Monday, I'm starting Cardiology, also in Casper. Hi Liz!

Yay! Part 1 of Project Runway finale tonight! And you know what that means .... Tim's family visits! YAY!! I really love Kimberly's passion and vision for her creativity. Anya doesn't have ANYTHING made yet?!! OMG! We're seeing the "softer side" of Viktor. Awww. And his pieces look very pretty (what briefly we saw). "This is one sad dress. It makes me want to weep." Tim, I love you.

I don't suppose any of you helpful people might have a copy of the current Science from which you might be able to scan the article about the rexamination of data from the Manis Mastadon site and send it to me?
Julia, because I'm really really interested in reading it instead of popular articles about it...

Tim, I love you. Whew. Just got girls sleeping - crazy, crazy! Counselor appt, cookies to make, homework to do. Elder sister sick - swollen lympn nodes and more, doc said home for a week. Younger sis seems like she's coming down with a cold. I am catching the end of PR just now . . .

So, where is Josh, here? Is he auf already?
Yee. I do not like Kimberly's outfits.

Semi-final runway ... time to narrow from 4 designers to 3.
Viktor - Cocktail dress w/leather skirt? Gorgeous! Tuxedo with glass blouse? Gorgeous! Jacket? Stunning and gorgeous? Dress under it - I don't totally care for.
Anya - Batik dress? Cute. Maybe not spectacular, but very nice. Bathing suit and cover up? Pretty, but not spectacular. I agree that on a darker skin it would be more eye-catching. Long gold gown? Has some very spectacular elements, lovely, but w/construction issues.
Kimberly - Casual top and pants? Love the print and colors, and the shape. Not totally sold on the back of top, but overall very very nice. Top with skirt? I love the color and front of top, again not sold on the back. I don't care for the shape of the skirt because of the stiffness of the fabric - doesn't move well. Long black gown? WOW! Love this!!
Joshua - Pants w/shirt and jacket? I do like the jacket, but the mix of it with the top and pants is a bit askew for me. And do the pants have some fit issues? Neoprene lil black dress is ... not the best silhouette. I like the idea more than the execution. Jumper/dress thing? Love the neckline thing. Hate everything else.
Time to hear what the judges say!!

Oh wait. There is Josh.
I agree with Heidi that the skirt is awful for Kimberly. Wow, I just do not like her stuff. At all.

Wow. Viktor's stuff is wonderful.
Josh . . I like the long black dress. The other two are OK.
ETA: OMG, the BACK! I had not seen the back of the long black thing. Not good.
I think Viktor should just win already.

Judging! Anya - they like the batik dress but don't care for the bathing suit or long gown. Colors are dull and badly made. Yep yep yep. She overthought herself on this.
Kimberly - They love that they see her in the clothes, love the sexy that is subtle, full of color and life. They don't like the over-accessorizing and the bubble skirt. The ask why she didn't pick some other pieces.
Viktor - Love the first two, love the jacket and the print. The little zipper dress is over-acccessorized. They love the glass blouse, they love the jacket and love the dress under it when the jacket is off. And Heidi wants to steal that jacket. Zipper skirt is too full. Prints are delightful, he doesn't need to over-do.
Josh - Modern and forward. They like the jacket but not the belt and shoes. Michael is on a roller coaster. Ha! Love the jacket, like the back of the dress (neoprene). They hate the back of the jumper-dress thing. Hate! And love the neckline. Who knew that I'd agree with Michael on that? Not consistent, not focused.
Joshua is announced as "in" first? After making that horrible horrible jumpsuit-veil thing? OY! Viktor is in, of course. Kimberly is in, and Anya is .... In too? OY! This again?
A twist! It's always a twist with this show.
